This little hike wasn't even on our radar for things to do in Sedona, but on our first night in town we asked our waiter where to go for a panoramic view and this was his first suggestion. I'm so glad we followed his lead- it would have been a shame to miss this incredible 360° vantage point! The hike... More

Had lunch here recently on a suggestion of a friend and was quite surprised that an 'airport' restaurant could be that good. This restaurant is located at the private Sedona airport with incredible views on the way up to it and also while dining. The food was excellent, reasonably priced and great service. Give it a try!

Folks from all over the world gather on top of the mesa every evening for sunset. Go early for good parking, take your camera, and be ready to sing impromptu "God Bless America" or something similar.

It was beautiful up there. Full circle views. Very windy on the day we were up there. My 78 year old mom was fine as long as I was there to help support her. My Aunt was a little scared to go up.

Several people recommended that I go up to Airport Mesa for the Sunset. Made it halfway through my visit and did a quick stop at the halfway lookout point then continued to the main viewing area. Excellent view of Sedona and the surrounding area with great views of the sunset over the red rocks. The parking is free but can... More

The views from Airport Mesa are breathtaking. You see the City of Sedona spread out before you with the mountains in the background. You can hike down to a vortex from here. Or drive up a half mile to the airport for 360 degree views that are beautiful.

Beautiful spit to take some great pics. You can stop on your way up to the Mesa on your left and climb up. Did not do this year but two years ago. Very rewarding! Continue along road and at the top to the right are paying telescopes to check the surrounding view. Great place to watch the sunset.

If you only have a short time to spend in Sedona this place gives you an all encompassing view of Sedona. It is a great place to get photos of scenery and with you crew with the red rocks in the background. Parking is free, but there is a donation box at the viewing area. Sedona should be on everyones... We had a day trip to Sedona on our way to Grand Canyon.. After our short tour to Bell Rock, we were planning to go to the State park. The park ranger recommended us to watch the sunset at Airport Mesa.. Glad that we followed her advise.. The change of colors and shapes was out of words.. It was beautiful...... More
