We had an exceptional tour with First charter Tours and Ken Cahill was extremely knowledgeable about the history the terrain and the geology. We had a great lunch at the El Tovar Hotel where he also provided many historical perspectives. Ken took us to beautiful lookouts where we were able to get beautiful pictures. Ken was driving a luxury SUV Lincoln navigator and drove us very safely from Sedona to the Grand Canyon This trip was extremely well done and we would highly recommend First Charter and Ken. Ken was the best! Extremely knowledgable and very pleasant. Ken is the best!!!

My wife and I decided to take this private tour to avoid a long day of driving ourselves. It was well worth it. Our driver Scott “Boomer” picked us up promptly at our AirBnB at the time agreed. The vehicle was spacious, clean, and loaded with snacks and water. Boomer was full of interesting stories and information about the area. Going just as a couple we avoided problems of traveling in large groups. First stop was Horseshoe Bend where we had ample time to wander and photograph this impressive site. After this we stopped for lunch in Page where we were given many options. As my wife is vegetarian we settled on Mexican. Following lunch we went to Canyon X, one of the slot canyons branching off Antelope Canyon. This was less crowded and made for a more intimate experience. We were turned over to our Navajo guide Marco who was knowledgeable and passionate about the area and Navajo lore and customs. He knew where to get the best photos as well. On our return we stopped in at Cameron Trading Post, the oldest one operating. We were Able to purchase some authentic jewelry handmade by Navajo artists. It was a long, fascinating, and fantastic day. It was first class all the way.

This tour was absolutely wonderful. We knew Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon would be beautiful, but we really wanted a trip that wouldn’t be stressful and provide us the opportunity to learn a lot about the history of both AZ and the Navajo. Miguel achieved that and more. He took such great care of us and was able to tell us interesting details about all the parts of AZ we drove through between Sedona and Page. He knew the answers to all our questions, making the 3 hour road trip fly by. He was able to make our experience at Horseshoe Bend feel intimate and private even in the midst of all of the tourists and he was so knowledgeable about Antelope Canyon, fully preparing us for when he left us in the great care of the Navajo guide. All in all is was an epic day and we can’t recommend First Class (and Miguel) enough.

We booked this charter tour on the recommendation of friends and we are so happy that we did. We couldn't imagine a better, more relaxed and more confident way to experience the Grand Canyon. We didn't have to worry about all the details of driving routes, the best entrance gates and fees, which of the scenic overlooks to choose, when and where to book lunch (El Tovar was great and we beat the train crowd), and when to head home. Our tour guide, Bob, was amazing. Great information and education throughout the drive, without being overbearing. When at each of the overlooks at the Grand Canyon he gave us space to explore while providing insight and information as we were interested. He also took some great family pics of us at multiple spots. Even though he was the tour guide, we felt like we had control - we could have added extra stops along the drive, stayed longer or shorter at different overlooks, added more or done less in the park, etc. We left early - missing a lot of the crowds and were back in Sedona in time for dinner. A fabulous day all around. If you're questioning whether to do it, whether it's worth the price - make your trip to the Grand Canyon perfect and just do it!

This was our FOURTH trip with First Class Charter Tours, second trip to Antelope Canyon X. This time we chose the longer 3 hour photography tour, and it was well worth it!! Our guide/driver was Marc. We got to know Marc, quite well, as it turns out. He picked us up promptly at 6am for the 10am tour. On the drive up, Marc was informed by dispatch, that there had been flooding in Antelope Canyon overnight, and the situation was being assessed. We almost made it to Page, when word came that the Navajo Nation had closed Antelope Canyon for the day, due to unsafe conditions!! We were all disappointed, but we stopped for coffee and a bite to eat. I texted Peggy at First Class Charter Tours, to see if we could reschedule for any day over the upcoming weekend, grateful my husband and I had that flexibility. Before we finished our coffee, we were able to reschedule the entire trip and Antelope tour for Saturday. We had a great time with Marc all day, exchanging funny stories and whatnot, even though we did not see Antelope Canyon, that day. Saturday morning at 6am, who shows up to take us back to Antelope Canyon X, was Marc again. By this time, we were all, the best of friends. We had an amazing time at Antelope Canyon X, had a great Navajo tour guide Van, and came away with stunning photos, stories, and memories, from this whole trip. I can’t recommend Antelope Canyon X nor tour guide, Marc, highly enough!! Book the 3 hour photography tour at Antelope Canyon X with Marc as your tour guide and driver. You will not be disappointed!! Once again, a big thank you to Marc!!

We were picked up at our hotel and driven to the Grand Canyon. Ken was our driver/tour guide extraordinaire. We made a slight detour to see old town Flagstaff (at our request) and then to the south rim. The great thing about a private tour is you can modify the tour to however you like. If we wanted to spend more or less time in one area, no problem. We signed up for the optional 2 hour hike, but as we started down, it was apparent that my spouse was feeling dizzy, so we adjusted our time and did a longer walk later. The car was clean and great to avoid a crowd. Water and snacks were provided in the car also. I would highly recommend First Class Tours if you are looking to go to the grand canyon from Sedona. In addition, my interaction with Peggy, office manager, was professional and prompt. It’s a great team, doing their best to survive in this time of covid.

I’ve travel many places throughout my lifetime and I’ve never met such a knowledgeable, kind, and down to earth guide. I traveled to Sedona with a tour already booked from a rival company, it was canceled via the weather. Said excursion was the entire reason I made the trek. In passing Miguel was recommended from a known associate. Not only did Miguel take on the last minute booking but he kept an open line of communication and was able to ease my mind and save my entire trip. Miguel was polished, prompt, and the example of white glove service. -MJD

We did the wine tasting tour with First Class Charters. We stopped at three wineries in the Cottonwood area. Each was interesting, with great wines. Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about local wines and the area in general. This is a great activity if you're looking for something a little different to do in Sedona.

The views of the Grand Canyon were incomparable, and enhanced by Marc’s first hand experience of having hiked around the Canyon over many years. Lunch at the El Tovar
Hotel gave us all time to chat and put our new experience in perspective. (Elk burger was great.) Also thoroughly enjoyed our ride through the Navajo Nation and Marc’s insightful commentary about the Nation’s history. Came back through Rock Creek Canyon. Fantastic day! We would highly recommend this tour.

We had such a wonderful time with First Class Charter tours. We were picked up and safely driven to and from the Grand Canyon. Our guide Miguel was extremely knowledgeable on the history, geology and culture of the area. We had an amazing time. Miguel even managed to keep a 10yr old entertained with his stories.
