We were here 10 years ago and this experience was just as great. They accommodated our 6 & 8 year old granddaughters with a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks while the six of us each did a wonderful tasting of wines unique to Arizona. Rubin, our server was absolutely awesome - entertaining and knew his stuff about each of the wines we were tasting. If you want to experience great tastingl wine, unique to Arizona, we highly recommend The Art of Wine

We were in Sedona after hiking the Grand Canyon, wandering the village and came across The Art of Wine. As we walked in we were greeted by Joleen, who welcomed us in and offered seating options. We opted for the bar and Joleen started to explain options, including the wine flights.
After her explanation of our options, we opted for the white, red and meade flights. Each consisted of multiple tastings (5 for wine, 7 for meade). All flights were great and made for a relaxing start to a hike-recovery evening. Joleen was very knowledgeable and interesting to talk to.
If you have an hour or so to spend, we highly recommend The Art of Wine. Ask Joleen for recommendations.

We were looking for a place to do some wine tasting after our morning hike. The place did not require any reservations and did not charge per person. They were so friendly and knowledgeable on the wines.
The interior is lovely but we chose to sit outdoors, located in a shaded small plaza [step right out to see Snoopy Rock!]. Ended up doing the ultimate red flight with 5 red wines from around the world. It was a chance to try some nice reds where you normally would have to purchase a whole bottle.
Also got the San Pellegrino orange and prickly pear sparking water. It was quite delicious! Made a relaxing afternoon.

The Art of Wine is a very nice find. Adjacent to to the Hyatt, the location is ideal. No fancy decor, but the staff are outstanding. Their knowledge of wine and their courteous disposition make it a very enjoyable evening. The wine selection is plentiful and much of the wine we tasted was delicious and affordable.

I arrived at 4:50pm on May 5th and I was told by the bartender they were closing early for a private event and could not serve me. She told me to return the next day after they open at 11am.
After a several hikes the next day I returned at 1pm and found they were closed during their announced regular business hours. There was a gentleman inside talking on his cellphone and he turned his back to me when I walked up to the door.
This showed me this establishment just was not interested in doing business with visiting tourists. I just left and took my money elsewhere.

Unknown to me before I went to Sedona, there is a growing wine culture and production area in the state. While most of the wine grapes, as I understand, are from the SE corner of AZ, there are several tasting rooms and wine bars in or near Sedona that have AZ and wines from places, domestic and international. We came to this place twice and found the people working there to be knowledgeable and very engaged. This was a perfect place to take a break from sightseeing in crisp January weather.

The wine selection itself was really amazing. I consider myself to be borderline wine snob & the Arizona-produced wines have really expanded & improved during the last ten years. The red flights and white flights were great.

We stopped here after a heavy snow day shut down the town the night before. Jonathan was very helpful in guiding us to the right wines to pass the time. If you want an in person experience to break the boredom come see the crew at The Art of Wine

We loved this place. We just stopped in for a wine tasting but were extremely happy with the selection and variety this place offers. I sampled the sweet wines while my boyfriend sampled the whites (at my request 😊) but we also both really liked their mead selections. We actually left with a bottle of mead instead of wine. Both staff members were very knowledgeable about the wines and different flavors that each has to offer. They also made great suggestions on things to try in the area.

The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable about all the wines. We did the wine tasting and I got to choose my favorite. They have such cute gifts to choose from and I bought something as a Christmas gift for a friend. Wine tasting is $18/person. A little on the pricy side. Prices for bottles of wine are reasonable. They do have a charcuterie to pair with your wine.
