I saw so many beautiful sights while learning about the amazing history of the Sedona area on my Arizona Safari JeepTour. Captain Jack was a wealth of information and very considerate about the safety and comfort of his guests. I would highly recommend this tour!

Capt. Jack was such a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable of local history, geology, botany, and wildlife. He went above and beyond to get us all safely to our chosen vortex locations.

The tour we were on was quite bumpy. They have different tours, I don't know if I would go if I were pregnant. But I would call the company and ask them, they are great. I'm sure they would be honest with you.

Wildlife Jeep Tour & Hiking Suggestions (3 Replies)
Hi Hoping to visit in September, we were there in Sept last year with family so did helicopter, kayaking, etc. Will just be us this year and I wanted some advice on wildlife viewing. I've found 2 tours - A Day In The West and Arizona Safari Jeep Tours. They look quite similar, so can anyone recommend one or the other. Also my husband wants to do some hiking, but I have some joint problems, I can walk but it needs to be relatively flat, not too many hills would be best, and somewhere I...More

Spotting wildlife around Sedona is mostly a matter of luck and timing. We tend to see more around dawn and dusk. I don't know how any of the jeep companies can improve your odds. A Day in the West is the better company of the two you list IMO For smoother hikes choose Bell Rock pathway, Red Rock Crossing and West Fork for starters

Arizona Safari Jeep Tours - Living Social Coupon $49 (1 Replies)
Question: Party of 9 and so COSTS is major factor. I know Pink Jeep Tours Broken Arrow is #1 for TA Patrons, with a costs of $100/pp and no discounts or coupons available for August 2015, I've checked Our goal for the jeep tour is to gain knowledge of Sedona and surrounding area, take in beauty of course, see areas we couldn't see with car or hiking, learn about terrain & history. Also, not sure if Arizona Safari Jeep Tours can go same places as Pink Jeep? So if they'r tours are...More

You get what you pay for...or not. Pink Jeep owns the commercial rights to their best trails. So you won't see the same trails. The driver guides can share the same Sedona lore and stories. They're practicing so that someday they can graduate and drive for Pink Jeep. I realize it's a lot of money, so you'll still have a good time and see and learn plenty if you opt for the Groupon. You won't know what you missed until you return someday and do the PJ tour.

Arizona Safari Jeep Tours questions (6 Replies)
While I know Pink Jeep tours are highly recommended by many here on TA, after doing a few searches I haven't found as much info/details about Arizona Safari Jeep Tours. Given that we're doing a 3 week trip I am trying to justify the cost of a Pink Jeep Broken Arrow (2 hour) tour for a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids) is quite expensive at $530 when you include a tip at 15%! After looking at other options, I found Arizona Safari Jeep Tours - which appear to be a lot more affordable....More

Pink Jeep and Red Rock Jeep are the top tier companies in Sedona. After them, I'd choose A Day in the West. JMO
