I did the Red Rock Basecamp Sedona, 4 days of hiking, 3 nights camping. The guide, Drew, was fantastic, he communicated via phone and email ahead of time, picked me up on time and took great care of us throughout the experience. The meals were outstanding! Every detail was taken care of to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Wildland Trekking seems to be a first class operation and I would recommend them without hesitation.

From start to finish, the team at Wildland is great. We were in Sedona for spring break, and my kids are ages 14, 12, and 9. We were set up for the "Wet Beaver Creek" trail but the trail was closed due to heavy rain in the area. Our guide Dakota took us on a different trail. He was superb. He contacted us in advance, gave us an idea of what to bring and how to prepare. We luckily found some rain jackets for the kids in Sedona the day before. Dakota brought daypacks with him as well as trekking poles, which everyone used. The hike itself was amazing, as well as educational - mostly on outdoor survival tips, which the kids loved. He knew the flora/fauna of the land well, and helped us recognize different shrubs/trees and their medicinal uses, as well as which treebark could be used for kindling. He prepared lunch as well, and it wasn't just granola bars/snacks, but a full on salad wrap with chips and hot chocolate for the kids. We will book with Wildland again, and will request Dakota.

First time to Sedona & first time with Wildland Trekking. Was with a small group for a teambuilding exercise & thoroughly enjoyed Stephen's guidance & commentary throughout! Gave us time to ask questions but kept the group moving. It was a great experience made even better by our guide, Stephen.

Red Rock Basecamp Sedona was my second trip with Wildland Trekking and a wonderful getaway in beautiful country. Kasey, our guide, was the best. She managed every aspect of our time together like a professional, a good judge of our abilities as a group, accommodating and an amazing cook to boot. The campground was great, food was exceptional, hikes were a fantastic sample of Red Rock country, loved the variety. I will look to do another WTC in the future.

My guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, patient, and full of stories. I always felt safe and pushed to my limit (in a good way!). It's rare to have a guide who knows the area in all of its facets - original cultures, geology, ecology, policy – and I loved that I not only had an amazing experience, but I really learned a lot. Wildland Trekking’s “adventure consultants” are also amazing – they're informed about the product and went out of their way to ensure that I signed up for an experience that was right for me. The entire company is five-star!

My sister and I hike with Wildland Trekking often and this year we chose their Inn based Red Rock Adventure tour and it didn't disappoint! It was the best trip ever! Michael W. was the perfect guide for this trip and he did an amazing job keeping our group challenged and content. He prepared great meals, challenged us with trivia and rock scrambling, but was always there with a helping hand on some of the tougher scrambles. Sedona in October proved to be hotter than i thought it would be..but all in all ... it was the perfect trip! I'd HIGHLY recommend!!!

My wife and I took a day hike on this trail which was a combination of a few trails. Guides always make or break the trip and Mikaela Ray was awesome. Informative, funny and a cool person to spend a few hours with. This hike was enjoyable and perfect for us, not too easy but not so hard we thought we were going to die. Various types of terrain and great views. Thoroughly enjoyed this and would highly recommend it to anyone. Overall hike was 8.5 ish miles and took us about 4.5 hours give or take including various stops for pics and lunch.

James was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, friendly, and fun. I would book another trip in the future with him anytime. His meals and attention to the dietary needs of his guests was superb. Looking back, its amazing all he did for our group and the fact that he basically had no down time. What a wonderful person!

The whole Wildland Trekking team was great. We had to reschedule dates, and we were able to be accommodated without much trouble at all. Kasey, our guide, was absolutely great. She gave us lots of information about the geology of the Grand Canyon and the history of various Native American tribes and their ties to the Grand Canyon. She also provided a perfect lunch for our group: made-to-order wraps with fresh ingredients. Our group of 5 "older" ladies had the best day on the trail!
