We had an absolute blast on our tour! The first hour or so is spent getting everyone geared up and trained but once you get going you get a solid two hours of ride time. The views are great the whole time, it’s a blast...More

I went out in the afternoon group and really enjoyed it. George and Jamie were our guides. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. I wouldn’t want to venture out there without a guide that knows the area. The ATV trip covers about 25 miles...More

Great for novice/basic riders or families. George was a wonderful guide! If you want to go faster/ drive a little crazier you probably just want to rent and find a trail.

Had a great time. Arizona ATV Adventures was very knowledgeable and personable. They took time to explain and teach everyone how to use the ATVs and what to expect out on the trails. Our guide George was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the Sedona...More

My friend and I shared an ATV and it was perfect! One of us drove in and the other took pictures, then the other drove back through the canyon so the other could take in all scenery. The guides were fantastic and I really felt...More

We had a great time - it was very cold as we had a cold front come through but everyone had a lot of fun. We all had prior ATV experience but it is not necessary.

The two guides/owners, both named George, could not have been more professional or fun.My family had a blast as well as a cool memorable trip. My husband nor I nor our four children (13, 15, 17, 19) had ever been on an ATV. George had...More

Very scenic box canyon but a long ride to get there.... wish we could have spent more time in the canyon but the time to get to that final destination takes quite a while. But overall, it was a scenic ride.

I think at this particular place you did. I would recommend it as it would have been easy to get lost out there on the terrain.

Arizona ATV Adventures or Sedona ATV Adventures (1 Replies)
Trying to plan an ATV tour for the family (2 adults 2 kids -12 and 14) for April. Has anyone ever used one of these companies and/or would you recommend one? Arizona ATV Adventures promotes a tour of the West Sedona Valley and views form Skeleton Bone Mountain. Sedona ATV Adventures has a variet y of tours from 1.5 -3 hours and is supposedly narrated through specially equipped helmets. Both seem fun but my instinct is to go with Sedona ATV but I don't really know why. Just would like...More

I have to tell you that NONE of the ATV tours are in the city of Sedona. You can rent them but not take a tour. I wouldn't bother myself kowing the roads they use. However, If you love ATV's you can get it here!

ATV tour review (1 Replies)
Just wanted to post a review on an ATV tour we took while we were in Sedona. When I was looking for info on them there was very little in the forum so I thought I would share our experience. We (2 adults, and 2 boys--14 and 12) were recommended by our hotel concierge to use Arizona ATV Adventures. She booked the tour for us and it was obvious that she knew them personally by the conversation. It helped us out because all the tour times we were interested in were full but they added an...More

Thanks for the review! I would say this is about the same that I've heard from other visitors here; it's a chance to ride an ATV but not much more. The dirt road they shuttled you to is a little less than half way to Cottonwood. It's kind of a no man's land and it's not the red rocks which you can only see from a distance. Thanks again!

ATV tours in Sedona -- anyone done it? (3 Replies)
My husband and I are visiting Sedona for four days in late September. He is not crazy about the idea of the jeep tours and would prefer to drive his own vehicle yet be part of an informational tour. I've looked at Arizona ATV Adventures and it looks interesting. Would love to hear from someone who has taken an ATV tour in/near Sedona. Thank you!

I haven't done the ATV tour, but have done the Pink Jeep Broken Arrow tour. And your husband is WRONG. Read the reviews. Consistently it is rated the top activity anyone or any family does in Sedona. It is almost unanimous in being the highlight of everyone't trip to Sedona. You don't hear that of the ATV trips. And if your husband thinks the ATV tours go anywhere near where the Broken Arrow tour goes, he is misinformed. They will be tame due to liability issues. Stick with the known...More
