Great hike. Cooler and more shaded than many hikes in Sedona and the slightly higher elevation offers different greenery. Gentle hike good for children to seniors. Parking (pay lot) can be an issue during peak season.

The West Fork Trail is a nice trail for virtually anyone visiting Sedona. There is little in the way of steep inclines and the trail passes back and forth over the river at various places. It is really a lovely hike and the full round...More

Getting out of the Phoenix heat in the summer is a regular past time for many. If you want to walk among the trees, listen to the water flow gently down the creek and rock hop across the stream, then "Call of the Canyon" or...More

This is a nice change of pace from the other trails around Sedona. It is a fairly easy hike, but during July you might have to cross the creek with water in it (not sure if there is always water). It took us around 2.5...More

This is really more of a walk than a hike. It is great if you really don't want to exert yourself very much. Beautiful scenery with several creek crossing that are not at all difficult. A couple of places to play in the water if...More

This place was mine and my sisters first hike. Definitely more complicated for beginners than some of the reviews sound. The crossings for the creek are a little difficult. We just ended up walking right through the creek - so in other words, bring waterproof...More

This time of year the West Fork Oak Creek trail is a wonderful escape for desert dwellers seeking green trees, water, cooler temperatures and photogenic rock formations. A few days ago it was 64 degrees at 8:30am. It warms up quickly but there’s good shade...More

Having been just in Zion and Bryce we were really disappointed in this hike. A few days earlier we did Devil's Bridge in Sedona and really liked that hike. This was shady and by a creek with some rocks, but nothing made us say wow.

It does cost $10 to get in, but it is a great hike. The first mile or so is crowded, but it does thin out substantially after that as many turn back. Most of the hike is tree covered and lush, and you cross the...More

This trail is gorgeous, everything about it is awesome, but waiting in line for hours to park, and the fact that there is little to no solitude during the trail section of the hike.... its a bit hard on the spirit is all do to...More
