Nice and easy hike! It's doable at any time during the day since a lot of vegetation in a addition to a nice breeze provide good cooling. We did the trail at the end of July at noon when the temperature was hovering around 100°...More

It was nice and easy trail to get to the vista overlooking the valley. We didn't go much further than the vista because we were tired and it was very hot. It was very pretty, tho!

Lots of great views. We started a little late around 10:30am, and it ended up being a little too warm for the full round trip. Trail is pretty easy and doesn't go up to much in elevation. We did run into a deer about 1.5hrs...More

Pretty easy hike. Gets you to the base of Kachina Woman and Warrior Man. Very serene. Vortex at the base of Kachina Woman. We were lucky enough to hear a Reiki master playing the flute atop Warrior Man. Such an amazing experience.

easy to find the trail head. Its a longish walk, with interesting rocks at the turn round point. Very hot walking in June, lots of water required. Easy walking with gentle incline. Some shade along the way, Definitely keep going to the end of the...More

We started this hike around 8:00 AM on a hot June day to try and beat the heat. The trail was pretty quiet at that time. Lots of gorgeous views all the way up the gradual incline, which got steeper at the end. There was...More

Least favorite of the half dozen trails we hiked during our visit - mainly because it follows the Enchanted resort boundary fence for a couple miles - when we hiked there was bulldozer or tractor noise for 3/4 of our hike and views of houses...More

We hiked this trail in May. It was about 8 miles round trip and I would say most of it is average. It gets a little tougher at the very end when you need to climb a bit. But it's sure worth the climb to...More

The temperature was 95 degrees the day we tried this marvelous trail and I got heat exhaustion. This has been a favorite hike in years past.

If you go there during a national holiday, there is no fee to park. The same is true for any national park. However, the airport mesa parking fee will still be $3.00 no matter what day you go.
