Close to Flagstaff there is a possibility to view the canyon in al its majestic beauty. If you take the road to Sedona you can stop several times, but because of bushes and trees it's hard to get a good impression of the canyon. Make sure to stop here and take a look.

We stopped here and enjoyed wonderful views. The picnic tables were mostly taken with Indian Craft stalls, which limited the space for us to picnic. It can be windy so beware your hat.

Well worth the curvy drive up from Sedona. The views were spectacular, lots of room to move around along the rim. Loved the Indian jewelry at the park.

The beauty of this stop, in addition to the view of Oak Creek, are the Indian vendors who sell turquoise jewelry and other jewelry or crafts. In my experience, the prices don't seem to be negotiable and are uniform from one vender to another. But I buy from them every few years.

Once you've seen the Grand Canyon, not much seems it will be worth it, but the views here though far different are still quite interesting. The vista is just south of Sedona and a great place to stop along the way through the area. There is also a small Indian tent sale of jewelry etc. Also - going south leaving... More

nice quick stop going to or coming from flagstaff. many people and closed often. parking ok. plenty of trinkets for sale. really nice in the snow. you do not see some of the nicer red rock formations but good exhibits on how the canyon was formed.

We stopped off for a photo opportunity and loved the views. The Native American stall holders selling hand-made products were wonderful, friendly and informative. The products were authentic & well made although some items seemed a little expensive. It is a great community project.

Nice place for a stop and enjoy the beautiful sights. We also purchased some of the native pottery. It was super windy there and a bit chilly so make sure you bring a jacket.
