Great place to stop and stretch your legs. Clean facilities, and lots of parking. It's a designated Native American craft location as well.

The drive up here is really something. When you get to this pinnacle, you will not believe your eyes. The canyon is vast and absolutely amazing. When I was there, I was fortunate to have the choice of incredible, hand made Navajo nation artwork. Honored to buy a bowl that has a special place in our home today.

Really enjoyed the view and the experience of Sedona AZ I This was my first time in Arizona and you really have to see this place in person. While photos are beautiful they don't do this place justice.

Drove from Phx to Sedona for lunch. Decided to head to Oak Creek and some slide rock fun. There was so many people around that it was too crowded to go. Due to so much traffic we could not make a uturn and decided to continue on 89 A toward Flagstaff. Low and behold we stumbled across this overlook. It... More

If you traveled up from the Phoenix area to visit Sedona, make sure you take time to drive up 89A to the Oak Creek Vista point. The road is a bit challenging but turnouts, side roads and overlooks along the way offer respite. Stop at all the interpretive locations to gain an understanding of why Oak Creek Canyon is so... At roughly 7,000 ft. elevation, this sign tickled my funny bone. Don't know if they're asking ya not to throw bodies over the edge, or . . .

The view from this overlook is spectacular. A great stop. Plus, there are many Native American venders set up here selling jewelry, pottery, etc. it was fun to view their wares and we even bought a few things.
