Weather was mild, trail dry. We took the short 'easy' route; all began well but last climb is challenging, scary and slow climbing. We are in our late 60's, all made it but labored on climb. Coming down even more of a trial, we ended...More

Just did this trail this morning. Left from the Dry Creek Vista parking lot and started on the Chuckwagon trail to the Devils Bridge trail, about 3 miles one way. Chuckwagon trail was a nice scenic walk, longer than the dirt jeep, road but so worth...More

This is the most spectacular and amazing site in Sedona. It is quite a hike from the parking lot, not as easy as we thought. But not as difficult as other hikes either. We went on a cooler day in October, this would be very...More

Ok. The signs say 1 mile - NOT. My Fitbit logged - round trip - almost 5 miles. If you have a four wheel drive, then you can risk it by vehicle up to the marked 1 mile round trip. However, we didn't have a...More

My husband, daughter and I walked the trail out to Devils Bridge. What beautiful scenery and the bridge itself was spectacular! We did this in October and it was not crowded so we did not have to wait to walk out on the bridge. Take...More

Not too difficult. Stony step incline the last 3 minutes before you reach the top. Gorgeous views on the way down too. A must see for hikers! But don't bring little kids.

We had the best 3 hours here very early on a weekday and was wonderful! There is limited parking spaces so the earlier the better for acquiring one of them. You are able to 4x4 or walk and we walked. It is very well marked...More

A moderate hike...as you near the bridge it gets more difficult. A natural wonder with great vistas. Parts of trail not clearly marked, pay attention and walking sticks a good idea. Not a good hike if it's rainy...

A good hike to gain some altitude to the bridge and see some spectacular views. Moderately difficult. There are several trailheads to start from so make sure you look at a map of the area before taking off.

You will need to park at the Drycreek Vista Trail head. There's parking there or even farther out to the main road the blacktop is also parking but your walk would be farther. From Drycreek Vista, the walk is 1.8 miles one... More

Can it be hiked in running shoes? Yes. Should it be hiked in running shoes? No. Running shoes are built for running, not for hiking Sedona's rocky terrain. By wearing hiking boots, you dramatically reduce your risks of... More
