We had a family of 4. A 13 and 10 yr old. We walked about 1.1 miles to hike up. It was 3/4 miles up from there (mostly stairs). I am afraid of heights but I did this with no problem at all. The last part up was mostly rocks placed as stairs. The bridge looks worse from across the... More

Breath taking and worth the hike! I would personally call this an easy to intermediate hike, but I'm very athletic so that might be skewed for the average joe.

Go for it. But be aware, the last 200 yards is hand over hand up rocks, and then along a slick rock cliff to get to the Bridge. Take your time, watch your kids, because a fall would not be good, may be your last. The view is great, but not until you are there

A word of warning...it's quite easy to get lost! We parked in the pa car park on Long Canyon Rd and hiked up the trail to the Devils Bridge. The trail crosses another trail, the Chuck Wagon, and on the return hike we took a wrong turning and ended up at the trail head on the 152 road. Not the... More

This hike was beautiful and standing on Devils Bridge was thrilling. The hike overall wasn't difficult , but for some with physical limitations could be tough at the point of climbing up to Devils bridge. It certainly was worth it!

Boring walk to the bridge, but we'll worth it! Can be tough the closer you get to the bridge so bring plenty of water and be relatively fit before you start

I really like this hike as the Devils Bridge at the end is spectacular If you go try and get uo the courage to walk out on top of the Bridge its really one of those things you will be happy you did. Give someone your camera to snap a Pic you will like the results

We parked in the paved lot and took the Chuckwagon trail to Devil's bridge trail. Then you don't have to walk on the rocky road with all the jeeps. Approx. 5.5 miles round trip. Just before you get to the bridge the trail is a little steep with stairs. Some of the stairs are taller than others, otherwise it is... More

This is a great hike through the red rocks with great views! Start early as the trail gets hot in the afternoon. The views at the top are spectacular!

Our map indicated that this hike is 0.7 miles each way. In principle, that means the round-trip should take a little less than a half-hour. Um, no, not exactly: Unless you have a robust 4-wheel drive truck, you start with a walk from the parking lot to the trail head, a bit more than a mile. (The road is dusty,... More
