Access past a barrier where you leave ID and agree only to enter the water by the restaurant and if you use their seats to spend $500+ each (we just sat on the soft sand for free). Easy access to the sea and great snorkelling....More

I went to Paamul beach with some friends and to get in you need to pass through the entrance where they give you all the rules! To have a place to seat at the beach you need to consume from the restaurant what was not...More

I am not sure why people are calling this beach a best kept secret. Yes there is sand on the beach and coral in the ocean. Akumal has a better beach, better coral and lots of turtles. Playa del carmen has a better beach. I...More

I don't really want to write this review, because the more people who know about this beach, the more will go. We went twice, because we wanted to snorkel somewhere quiet. And both time we were amongst only a few other people there. Actually, we...More

You have to drive past a check point but just say you are there for the beach and they will let you in and direct you where to park. We visited over Easter holidays so it may have been more crowded than usual but when...More

Can't say bad things about this beach. Small. Quiet. Relaxing. Clear water. Few Rocks that somehow makes it look beautiful.

Unfortunately, the day we visited it was too windy to snorkel or go into the rough water - but the beach is gorgeous! We'd definitely come again on a calm day so we could go swimming. I'm sure the snorkeling would be amazing on a...More

We had visited Paamul in the past and looked forward to returning and once again, were not disappointed. We were going to set up dives for the upcoming week but decided not to because of the excessive rain that occurred following our visit. The restaurant...More

This beach was only five minutes from our all-inclusive resort, but we spent two afternoons here enjoying the water, views and food. It was a great place to relax and mingle with locals and ex-pats. The water is crystal clear and gorgeous. It's a great...More

I am not sure but I would guess it is. It is a small community of several ex-pats, a scuba diving shop and a great little restaurant (they only take cash). You could email the dive shop there to find out or just google... More

We told them we were going to the restaurant, and the changing facilities are right by the restaurant. The restaurant has super strong margaritas and excellent ceviche.
