I paid for a flight of four and only received three.
The server was annoying and talked a lot, and it was only one server working where it should have been at least 2 servers working because it was a Saturday after 5 p.m. and the place was full.
No cheese boards, no crackers, no music.
After paying, I still tip the server.

In Old Scottsdale. Parking is decent on a weekday. Very nice atmosphere for someone who is out of state and looking for warmer atmosphere. You feel the breeze at just the right temperature with their windows open. I stopped by for a tasting with Kelly and I was really enjoying his knowledge on wine. He knew about the wine in the region and was well versed in wine as a whole. I did the $12 tasting (5 wines) but I might be back for the reserve tasting because I enjoyed the $12 so much. The have labels with different conspiracies that caught my attention. I would say medium price ranged wines.

Took a friend who is In the wine industry after getting a recommendation from another wine person to this tasting room and was happy with the wines but horrified by the person behind the counter who is the spokesperson and your first impression of this winery. There are two tasting menus to try one is $12 one is $20. I took the $20 And my friend took the $12 tasting after being recommended that We try both tastings and split them from Kelly behind the bar. After tasting all the wines my friend bought two bottles off of the $12 tasting menu and I did as well. Here’s where it gets sketchy. He would not refund my tasting fee of $20 even though I bought two bottles of wine because I didn’t buy them off the $20 tasting fee menu which he never ever mentioned to us. So in addition to buying two bottles of wine I had to pay a $20 tasting fee because I didn’t buy off of the “correct” menu. What??? Wow what a distasteful experience!

On out last evening in Phoenix we decide SWD to try Arizona wineries. I really did not expect much. In fact the first winery proved the hypothesis. One can get bad wine made in Arizona. I do not care about similar latitudes to Spain and Southern France. Climate and terroir count!

However, I did not find one bad wine here. In fact two are three are outstanding! The young lady working behind the counter, Cait, is very sweet and knowledgeable.

Make this a definite stop!

While visiting Scottsdale, we had the pleasure of visiting the tasting room. We absolutely loved all the wines and enjoyed a delicious cheese plate. In addition to this, the decor of the tasting room was very warm and inviting. Our server, Ali, was very friendly and provided us with a lot of information regarding the different wines. We will definitely be returning during our next trip to Scottsdale!

I have not acquired a taste for red wine so I appreciate when there are wine tastings that are just for those who do appreciate the reds and those who enjoy the whites. The reserve wine tasting was $20 and the white wine tasting was $12. For the most part, we enjoyed both white and red wine tastings but frankly not enough to purchase a bottle which ranged from $25-$70. Curt was very knowledgeable about the different wines.

We were sitting in old town Scottsdale and saw this store front and decided we needed to taste some wine. There was an assortment of wines to be tasted. Flights are offered for 12 dollars and up. Individual glasses are about the same. Bottles are in the 40+ dollar range. The wines we tasted ranged from good to excellent and the members of our party who live in Phoenix bought some bottles. I recommend this as a great way to spend an hour or two on a chilly Arizona afternoon.

We stumbled in here while killing time walking around before a dinner reservation. The two of us decided to share a flight, which was priced well and we were able to pick from a list of available wines. The wines were interesting and we both bought a bottle of Malbec. Its a great way to try wines you normally don't even think about and an easy way to get out of your comfort zone. The host was engaging and knowledgeable. It was a great unexpected adventure and we were so glad we were able to do a wine tasting while in the area.

Let me start off with I really like Italian wines, Chilean, Argentinian and Spanish. I am very fortunate to be within driving distance of niagara on the lake. Also I have been to Napa Valley and had true Italian wine in Florence. I had heard about this place and the whole prohibition history I thought it would be cool to try wine from Arizona. I decided to do the $20 tasting quite expensive for 4 glasses of samples. I am use to $10-$15 Canadian max. There was one white and three red. The wine was not good at all. In fact I had to spill out the first one it was so bad. There is another wine tasting place up the street I wish I had gone to instead. Regardless I think it's safe to say I didn't feel any urge to buy a $80 bottle of wine to take home from this place. I have spent upwards of $200 on a bottle IF I like it. These samples I could barely finish. I would not go back here next time I am in Scottsdale. To be fair service was good and the gentlemen behind the bar was very nice. However if you are charging $20 a sampling you might want to give some cheese and bread or crackers to help with the tasting.

My husband & I stopped by Salvatore Vineyards for a tasting a few weeks ago & were quite impressed. Our budget doesn't allow for regular purchases given the bottle prices of their higher-end wines, but we opted for a tasting. You can really taste the quality in these wines, & I'd bet they'd be good aged for a few years. Definitely worth it to have a flight of these quality wines. Our server was very friendly & eager to tell you all about the wines. Grapes are all Arizona-sourced. The tasting room also has a lower-priced flight of wines (Passion Cellars). We didn't do the lower-priced flight on this trip since we'd already had plenty of tastings at other tasting rooms locally, but we plan to return to Salvatore for sure!
