Walked here very early one Saturday morning in June. Very good views back to Scottsdale from the top. Totally unlike anywhere else i'd ever walked (being from the UK). Just remember to pack lots of water !

Lots of free parking, different routes to choose from, and once you start going on your chosen path you don't see too many others. If you are in the area, definitely drop by. People are very friendly and always say hi!

Wow the is Preserve has the nicest trail heads. This is a great hike. Not too challenging. This trail also takes you up the pack way to Toms Thumb. Nice trails and a gem in the Phoenix area.

Fun walk - not real tough, but tough enough! Uphill on the way out, gentle slope back down. I’m a 55 year old not-in-great-shape person - and I enjoyed it. Take water!
