This is our favorite local movie theater. The Harkins chain sends its foreign films here, along with the Batman franchise stuff. The fantastic Jewish Film Festival arrives in February each year, and you don’t have to be Jewish to love those movies. The last star is missing because these are ordinary movie seats, not the soft leather reclining ones that you can find elsewhere.

Years ago, Dan Harkins promised that his movie theater chain would continue to provide a venue for arthouse films that don't attract mainstream audiences. He has kept this promise with this theater. If you want to see an independent film, foreign film, or other arthouse cinema, this theater is your best bet in the Phoenix area. No reserved seat ssd's here, but the theaters are well maintained and clean.
