We were not sure what to expect but it was very informative with some historic cars from the Penske Racing Dynasty's past. They ask no photos of Marlboro cars but no problem for the rest. The wind tunnel models were very interesting and there was a small gift shop and a café that was closed on a Sunday. Even if... More

I have always loved racing, my husband not so much, but his mind changed coming in there, it's so full of history, cars are so meaningful seeing them in person. The people there are so helpful and nice, so many trophies I never knew existed I didn't want to leave. I hope if we go back up I want to... More

If you are even a casual fan of Indy Car, Nascar or F1, the Penske name is a hallowed one. At his Scottsdale Museum, you will see many of the racing cars that his teams fielded over the years, along with photos and memorabilia. For racing fans, it's a fun way to spend a chilly day in the Phoenix area.

If you want to see a number of Penske racing cars and trophies this museum is great. Don't take pictures of the orange and white Marlboro cars - they will ask you not to. Other than that it is a beautiful display of the real cars that won championships and major races.

This museum is located inside the dealerships. Facinating facts about Penske and their racing cars. Not all of them. Located inside of High end dealership, so fun to also see cars that I would never be able to afford.

Penske's museum is a very nice, bright, but small museum tucked within several high end auto dealers. There are not a lot of cars to see and they are roped off, so you can't get even close to them. The second floor is for the trophy cases, snack bar (which was not open when we were there) and scaled replicas... More

We visit this museum whenever we are on that side of town. It's always a delight to read the plaques about the cars, watch videos, grab a bite and get another tee-shirt.

This museum is easy to access, right in the middle of many car dealerships next to a major street. There are many race cars and engines that have won major races, and set speed records. Everything is well displayed and has easy to read descriptions to help understand and appreciate everything. And the free admission is nice, also.

The Penske Racing Museum is located among a huge dealership area in North Scottsdale. The museum is small and features several Indy and Indy Light cars and the history behind them. A great place to spend an hour or so.
