The Monument Course, which opened in 1990, was conceived by legendary golfer Tom Weiskopf and Architect Jay Morrish. In 2007, the course underwent a major renovation project, led by Tom Weiskopf. An entirely new playing experience was created by exchanging its front nine holes with the front nine of its sibling course, the Pinnacle Course, and changing the sequence in which the holes are played. Hallmarks of the course include balance, variety and immaculate course conditions.

Boy, what an amazing golf course. Of course it is beautiful, and kept in pristine shape. Greens are immaculate and true. This is a golfer's paradise. Now this is not an easy course, so unless you are a 15 handicap or below, you may get a bit frustrated. But believe me, it's worth the frustration because you just don't often... More

Purchase a Troon Golf Card online. This allows you to play the outstanding Troon courses near Phoenix at reduced rates and also if available, as in November, you can get the rates also two for one or half price. The courses are awesome but you would need to stay several weeks to play enough rounds to justify the cost of... More

I have played this course three times and love the challenge it poses compared to many of the resort courses. Great service and met some fun people as i was a single. It is definitely cooler from temperature perspective than in the valley. Only criticism was turkey sandwich at snack shop wasn't very good.

Troon North is incredible. The course conditions were outstanding, and the views were incredible. Green fees are a bit pricey, but you can play both courses on the same day and get a discounted rate for the second course (replay rate). Would play again in a heartbeat!

We had a quick trip, only four nights but wish it had been longer. Our room was lovely and anything you needed was there. We were always greeted with a smile. Breakfast was included with our stay and it was delicious. We had lunch there twice and we loved it both days. We wanted to have dinner but there wasn't... More

Played Monument on the morning of Saturday Sept. 10. It was in very poor condition. Big patches of the fairways had new sod laid over dead areas. Lots of dead grass on the fairways. Greens were also very poor. Unrepaired divots all over the place. Bumpy greens. Staff at Troon North were great. Very friendly and helpful. Disappointing that the... More

Challenging course in a gorgeous setting. The back nine is the most scenic, but the entire course is beautiful. Not being from Arizona, we loved all of rabbits and lizards running around. We played with rentals - brand new Callaway's, which were very nice. Only complaint was that the bar cart was slow to come around.

I have played Troon North (both courses) many times. But until last month, I had not played it in over 10 years since moving away. As a former club professional in the Phoenix area, I can tell you that playing Troon North will live up to your expectations. From the layout, to the condition, to the views, and to the... More

Playing here was very satisfying. I had a Troon Club membership so paid half price. The check in was smooth and Mike was very friendly. It was windy and cold day the middle of May. The Monument course has spectacular layout and was perfectly manicured. It was challenging enough and the greens were pretty fast but not consistent all throughout.... More
