Troon North Golf Club stands as a hallmark of the Scottsdale desert golf...

Troon North Golf Club stands as a hallmark of the Scottsdale desert golf experience with two 18-hole courses stretching through the natural ravines and foothills in the shadows of Pinnacle Peak. Giant granite boulders lie strewn across the rugged landscape of Arizona's Sonoran Desert, where Troon North Golf Club combines iconic golf with the visual sensation of desert landscape, providing a standard unmatched in the American Southwest.

Revered as Scottsdale's crown jewel, the challenge, visual sensation, and special ambiance of Troon North sets the standard by which all other courses are measured. The immaculately groomed fairways, bentgrass greens and exceptional customer service create the renowned Troon Golf Experience. Troon North's Monument and Pinnacle courses consistently rank at the top of every golfer's must-play list. Recent course renovations by original designer and British Open Champion Tom Weiskopf have created two new layouts that bring his original concept to life. Golfers in search of the classic desert golf experience are returning to Troon North Golf Club again and again to enjoy Weiskopf's true vision. Whether you're playing for the first time or a regular at Troon North, these two Scottsdale courses in sunny Arizona offer golf connoisseurs the best in desert golf!

I've played both the Monument 18 and the Pinnacle 18 many times and BOTH are amazing and unique in their own way. Be awe inspired by the amazing scenery and desert beauty, encouraged by the custom real estate surrounding you and enlightened by the fact you are playing on either of the courses listed in the top 100 in the... This place is amazing, played both courses, the August rate was $41, included cart and use off the range. I played late afternoon and pretty much had the place to myself, took me 2 hours 30 mins to play 18... It's easy to loose balls, once your off the fairway it's hard to find them plus the risk of coming... More

Just finished a wonderful lunch, the spinach salad was the best ever, especially on a very hot day! Our waitress was excellent, with great suggestions for everyone.

Spent a wonderful day at Troon North playing golf. Their greens and fairways were well manicured and in excellent condition, even though we have had very hot weather recently. The staff was outstanding and the views were awesome as always. Love this course and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to play golf in the Scottsdale area

Both courses at Troon North (Monument and Pinnacle) have an excellent layout, condition was impeccable, and the staff was great to deal with. This is like the Disney World of golf courses where every detail seems to be finished with the intent to enhance your experience. I found it to be a above average in difficulty for the desert golf... Truly one of the top golf clubs in Scottsdale. Visually stunning; it looks like everything was crafted for the effect. Large boulders everywhere as well as the usual dessert plants and animals. Course is beautifully designed and plays fairly. Wonderful experience.

One of the top clubs in Scottsdale! Thank you! We're so glad you had a great day and took the time to really take it all in. The landscape that our course flows through and around really is amazing. We are very lucky for sure. Please come back and see us again soon. More

One of the top golf courses in the area. We went for lunch and returned for a round of golf on Easter Sunday. Greens fees are steep ($275) but they gave us a special deal for Easter. We never saw another group on the course. Lunch is very special with great views and good club food. We will return.

Great clubhouse and friendly staff. Golf courses were both in great condition and very tricky to play well on. Food and drinks afterwards were good value with us having sharing plates. Worth the trip.

Average rating for reduced quality of greens from what this course used to be. Nice desert layout for both courses (combination from old Monument/Pinnacle) but greens are slow, full of poa to the point of not rolling true. The greens are thick and spongey with all the poa mowed into the surface, but firm on approach shots to not hold... More

Thanks for your review. It appears though you have played numerous rounds at Troon North, we appreciate the continued support. Please let us extend our apologies for not meeting your expectations with the green surfaces during your last round. It's definitely not fun when you feel like you can't make a putt due to conditions. Thank you again for your... More

Played both Pinnacle and Monument courses. To play a desert course go for Pinnacle but try to keep your driver in the bag, tight and hitting fairway essential. Probably preferred the Monument course which had good scenery and was a bit more forgiving off the tee. Staff were very helpful and I enjoyed the visit. Had lunch both days and... More
