Troon North Golf Club stands as a hallmark of the Scottsdale desert golf...

Troon North Golf Club stands as a hallmark of the Scottsdale desert golf experience with two 18-hole courses stretching through the natural ravines and foothills in the shadows of Pinnacle Peak. Giant granite boulders lie strewn across the rugged landscape of Arizona's Sonoran Desert, where Troon North Golf Club combines iconic golf with the visual sensation of desert landscape, providing a standard unmatched in the American Southwest.

Revered as Scottsdale's crown jewel, the challenge, visual sensation, and special ambiance of Troon North sets the standard by which all other courses are measured. The immaculately groomed fairways, bentgrass greens and exceptional customer service create the renowned Troon Golf Experience. Troon North's Monument and Pinnacle courses consistently rank at the top of every golfer's must-play list. Recent course renovations by original designer and British Open Champion Tom Weiskopf have created two new layouts that bring his original concept to life. Golfers in search of the classic desert golf experience are returning to Troon North Golf Club again and again to enjoy Weiskopf's true vision. Whether you're playing for the first time or a regular at Troon North, these two Scottsdale courses in sunny Arizona offer golf connoisseurs the best in desert golf!

From drop off to pick up of clubs, this course is top shelf! I loved my round here, scenic, challenging, well maintained, great staff, good food, no inflated prices, drinking water on course, beautiful homes, wildlife (bobcats, birds, rabbits) and no extra charges incurred for practice facilities.

Amazing courses. Both are beautiful but preferred Monument course. Never had anyone behind us or infront. Would highly recommend.

Played both courses back in early December. I have never had so many three putts in my life!! The greens were like putting on glass, and didn't seem to follow any of the rules of "mountain golf" with regards to breaks. Very difficult to read. I was with three other friends and we all had the same issues. Having said... More

I played both of the courses at the club for the Troon Cup tournament. The service could not have been better and the course was in great shape. But the greens! So hard to read and a constant challenge!

Played the Monument course and it was in great shape. I was a solo and was paired up easily. The only disappointment was the rather slow play because 2 somes weren't paired up until we called the proshop. After that, the pace improved. I rented clubs which were Callaway's and in good condition. A nice touch was being given Callaway... More

Gorgeous course. Outstanding views of the city. Some high points with great viewpoints. Its tough to play, but well worth the time. The greens were perfect. Everyone at the course was so nice. This place needs to be on your list of places to golf. It's that good.

Our only complaint was that this is the time of year that the course is over-seeded and it is only cart path only. We had never played before and it made it more difficult to figure out what club would be used since you couldn't drive to the ball. The course is beautifully cared for and well laid out. We... My husband has played golf here before and enjoyed it. However when I am with him, we come up here to see the sunset. There is a walkway on the west side of the clubhouse than you can walk out on and from there is a fantastic view of the sunset. You can park here for free in their lot.... More

3 days of golf school plus 2 rounds. Kudo's to our teaching pro, Doug Hammer, who was personable, patient, intelligent, knowledgeable, and an excellent diagnostitian and teacher. He corrected at least 3 or 4 major faux pas in my terrible game after 50 plus years of playing just plain bad golf. Our group of 4 really enjoyed our time with... More

Its a beautiful golf course with 2 full courses which we both played on the same day. Its in very good condition right now. Maybe not a great place if you spray the ball of the tees as the fairways are narrow on many holes with fairways elevation toward the dead desert. I would even say unfair at a few... More
