I was a member of the Scottsdale Gun Club but canceled my membership today. In the two months I have been a member I have called on several occasions and not once has anyone answered the phone. I get that they may be shorthanded due to the Covid situation, but I have also not once received a return call even though their automated system asks for a call back phone number. I made a reservation for a gun cleaning class in March and I arrived 1/2 hour early. The instructor never showed up for the class. Even though I have received ZERO service from Scottsdale Gun Club the manager, Mike, refused to give any consideration for the the club's lack of performance and be charged me an early cancel fee. TOTALLY DISSATISFIED WITH THEIR LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM.

Great Gun Range With All Services

Joined a few years ago. Great range, supplies and support. A myriad of classes on gun safety, training, both for novice and advanced. Staff courteous, knowledgable and professional.

New Members Looking Forward to Returning

My wife and I joined today after visiting the Gun Club with another married couple who are friends of ours and have been members for many years. This was our first time firing handguns. The sign-up process was quick and easy, all made possible by Conner ( a fellow Navy vet) who was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

All in all, a great success. No one wounded, no one killed, no one screaming at us, an occasional round hitting a target. ;) Looking forward to going back soon.

Review is based on one factor...prior to covid 5 star, on recent visit, absolutely no concept of distancing, no one wore masks outside range, no limiting of people in store, no wiping down of range after someone left, no spacing of shooters...gun store next door, limiting # in store. No protection for employees or customers while state is reporting record numbers of cases, ICU beds depleted!!! No masks except us 2 and one other....it was jammed.

Bad experience multiple times

May 2019

I went to Scottsdale Gun Club multiple times, almost every time I was harassed by a youngster employee at the shooting range.
It felt like I was profiled and was treated that way for being an immigrant\foreigner
I will try a different shooting range and will join a club that respect their customers.

Awesome Place

I bought a membership for the Scottsdale Gun Club back in 2003 before it was even built. At that time it was a gun store on Hayden I believe called The Armory. I was a very active member from 2004-2009 until I moved to NY. I recently moved back to AZ and this time around I signed up for the Titanium membership. I have purchased so many firearms from them in the last 16 years including 2 recently. I have never had an issue here in all the years I have been coming. I look forward to the next 16 years of membership!

Very nice and convenient place to shoot

As we live on this side of town, SGC is the closest for us to use. Compared to some other places it's definitely more upscale; facilities are nicer, staff is very knowledgable. Range is clean and modern, they are more strict here than other places but I think this is a good thing as this ensures a more controlled environment and enhances safety. Prices are good; you can find better deals elsewhere but then I think they match/beat prices if you provide the evidence. We plan to renew our membership.

Awesome Gun Range and Staff !!

When I first moved to Arizona the first gun range I visited was Scottsdale gun club. At first I just paid as I'd go but after seeing how nice and friendly the staff is I decided to buy a membership. I shoot quite often and every time I go the staff knows me by name and makes me feel like I'm part of a family instead of just a number/customer. The whole staff is very friendly and they go out of their way to make u feel at home. I've been to many gun ranges in my life and this place is by far one of the best, so If your looking for a nice clean and people friendly gun range Scottsdale Gun Club is the place. "I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE"!!

Fantastic Family Experience

This was our second holiday in Scottsdale and our first visit to Scottsdale Gun Club. Being from the UK and only ever having done some clay pigeon shooting I did have some trepidation about visiting SGC, but I had promised my son so we paid a visit.

I was so glad that we did, Walt and his staff were so friendly, patient and totally professional any concerns that I may have had vanished in an instant. The selection of firearms for rental was amazing, we had such a fantastic time, in very safe and welcoming surroundings, that our planned two visits turned into five!

We would just like to say a very big “thank you” to Walt and everyone at SGC as they helped make a great holiday a really special one. We are planning to go back to Scottsdale in 2020 and returning to SGC will be right at the top of our to-do list.

Professional, Safe and Fun!

I bought a Groupon for my 16 yr old son's birthday, and he loved it! The only drawback was the price. The $70 I spent for a 30-second shooting experience. But, he loved it!
