- Andrea CAvondale, Arizona99 contributionsGreat ExperienceThis is a great activity to do with the whole family. My husband and I went during the week. We purchased “The Queens Package” online which was great because it gives you access to the area in the first two rows. A lanyard, a flag, and crown. When you arrive parking is free. They have many gift shops to walk around in and a torture chamber to view (ticket sold separately) I would not recommend children under the age of 16 to view. There is a full bar service and you can purchase souvenir cups for all your drinks. They do have NON Alcoholic beverages such as ices for the kids as well. Once in side the area it is stadium seating. You sit at a long bench like table with individual seats (no arms on the seat). Be mindful of your neighbors cause you are close together. The food is served and you eat with your hands. You are served a soup, bread, half a garlic baked potato, corn on the cob and a half a chicken. You have two free rounds of any non alcoholic beverage to drink then you are served a desert and coffee. During the service of the food the games are played and you must be mindful to root for your knight be sure to wave you flag to cheer on the games. The one thing that I believe the show needs is a jester or joker to help with the transition between games. This would help keep the kids interest also. Be mindful the restrooms are in the main lounge area ( about the same distance as in a movie theater). It was a nice night and something different to do. After the show you are able to get pictures / autographs with the queen and all Of the knights and performers in the show. We really enjoyed our selves and will be bringing back our niece and nephew during the summer.Visited February 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten February 23, 2020
- Linda SPhoenix, Arizona672 contributionsMy Granddaughter Said This Was The Best Day Of Her Life (almost 4 years old LOL)My husband and I had an unexpectedly great time here. This was a birthday gift for our son-in-law, so we had four adults and two granddaughters, almost four years old. Here is what I think about this place: 1. It is not cheap. We added on the birthday package, which makes it much more expensive. However, if you want photos, birthday announcements, priority seating, etc, it makes it much simpler to get all those things done. Plus you get birthday cake. All the seating looks outstanding, so I don't think priority seating is very important. 2. The food was actually good. Everything was cooked well and served at a good temperature, even for us on the end of our row, where we were always served last. 3. The bar service is good. And they excel at selling you take home barware you don't need or want. Beware. 4. The show is really fun. Both of our granddaughters got flowers. Our Red Knight threw one, and another knight who saw our other granddaughter got left out tossed her one. We really appreciate that. The jousting, fighting, horse shows and bird of prey show were all very entertaining, and moved right along. And we really had a blast cheering our knight. 5. Lots of gift shops selling small affordable things for children and bigger unaffordable things for older children and adults. Like $513 swords. Really? 6. The staff were just amazing. The place runs like clockwork. Everyone got us where we needed to be. They did a great job with our photos, our birthday announcement, special flags for our granddaughters, etc. The serving staff were friendly, efficient, helpful and everyone stayed in character. Although sometimes understanding what our server said through her faux medieval accent was challenging. 7. I would go again. I would not likely buy the special packages again, although they were exceptionally fun last night.Visited February 2020Written February 2, 2020
- Christine K2 contributionsWorth itWasn’t sure what to expect when we arrived. We read online that they suggested to arrive up to an hour early, for my husband and I it wasn’t necessary. If you want to get a few drinks, take pictures and shop the gift store (somewhat small) then it would be worth it. We got a drink each and had a bunch of extra time. The show itself was awesome. The horses, falcon and riders were incredible. The falcon was something we weren’t expecting and was SO cool. The training and athleticism of the horses were fantastic to watch. The theatrics of the show are entertaining and keep you interested, but they are obviously planned out but as adults we could still appreciate it. Kids would probably buy into it for sure! Both my husband and I have dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy) and they were easily able to accommodate it. There is also a super handy chart we found on their website. The costs were actually reasonable priced. Glad we went!Visited September 2021Traveled with friendsWritten September 11, 2021

We were a party of 7 needing something to do for NYE. We attended the 9:45 pm show and it was a well run, entertaining event. The supper was very filling and tasty (tomato bisque, roast chicken, potato, corn and ice cream). They provide half a chicken, so if you can’t eat it all, don’t worry; they provide to-go bags. It was much fun eating with our hands. The show was entertaining as well. We sat at the end of the area, straight across from the Queen. We had a great view of the show at those seats. Seeing the jousting head on showed all the accuracy of the knights. Kudos to the staff. It was a full house for the NYE party, but the were extremely attentive. We are not ones for the souvenirs, so we opted for no group photos or souvenir glasses, but their quality and selection was good. Would certainly recommend this dinner and show for a unique outing.

This is not my usual idea of fun, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Acting and stunts by the cast were professional and exciting. Training of the horses was excellent. Food was also good and too much quantity for one... I did not realize take-home boxes would be available & I had to let my belt out 2 notches! Only negative were the abundant opportunities to spend more money: the show/meal alone, albeit pricey, is worth it.

Great experience and great fun. Had a blast getting into the spirit of it and cheering for our knight and allies. Beautiful horses and cool falcon!
Beware the up-sells however! If you go with kids you'll drop a fortune in fun flashing swords, etc. If you're an adult beware the bar; premium pricing and try to avoid the souvenier glassware! We bought 4 drinks and were told it came with the glassware, no options, $100. Beer and wine, nothing fancy.
Cost aside, it is a fun outing. No need for VIP seating really, all seats are good. Meal is good and eating with your hands is part of the fun. The Queen's audio is hard to hear so we missed quite a bit of the story. Still able to follow along the general idea.
Lots of people worried about the horses drooling, this is due to having a bit in, not mistreatment. The horses looked very fit and well cared for. Highly trained.
Tip: look for ticket discount codes, they really help.(We had an AARP code)

We booked this for a birthday celebration, but got an email 3 days before the show saying that the show was canceled. This was obviously irritating. Then I had to ask for a refund (they wanted us to reschedule...but since it was for a birthday that wouldn't work.) We got no apology and we'll have to wait up to a week to get our almost $200 back. I think we may just wait until our next trip to Vegas and go to Tournament of Kings. They have reserved seating there, too, which they do not have at Medieval Times, so no need to show up an hour early.

Our very first time going and our last... email confirmation tells you to arrive 60 minutes early, for what reason, not sure as there is absolutely no reason to arrive that early, you can easily walk/shop the inside of the castle within 20 minutes. Food rating... I would give it a 4/10. For the price of the dinner & show was not worth it. Our chicken was bland, the one potato wadge they give you was super salty. The best thing from our dinner that earned a 4 would be the tomato soup with its slice of garlic bread. Show is 2 hours long, which is great as long as you enjoy Medieval Times. Once in a lifetime experience but never again. Would I recommend the place to family or friends, let's just say I would let them figure it out on their own lol. They should have different options on tickets, like allowing people to pay for the dinner or just the show.

We have been to several different Medieval Times (most frequently Chicago/Schaumburg) and we came to this one specifically because it is the newest one (also, Schaumburg still closed due to pandemic). The show was good, all of the actors and animals were great. Our server was really good, even remembering to bring us extra napkins as requested. We really liked that part of the horse pens are outside the "castle" and you can see them out there. Things were obviously a bit different in this pandemic era, but overall still a great experience. Also, props to the announcer; he totally called out the idiots not following directions (wait at the table until called to get up and leave) when they decided they were more important than the rest of us and tried sneaking out first.

I went with my husband and friends for my birthday. I used a birthday code to purchase my tickets which made it even more value for money. I also called before the day of my show to add one more guest to my reservation and that was done conveniently over the phone. The show was so good, but at some points we couldn’t really follow what was going on (we couldn’t hear so clearly). However, the action going on during the tournament was awesome. Our server, Mando, was fantastic. He served us really quickly and made sure we were well taken care of. All the staff, cast members and servers were in character from start to finish and we really appreciated that as it made the overall experience realistic and enjoyable.

Everything!
We arrived a few minutes late so no one was in the lobby. They knew who we were when we entered and quickly ushered us to our table explaining everything to us so we wouldn't be lost in getting caught up.
The show was outstanding and the service was awesome.

This was a great option for dinner and a show with the family. Plenty of discount codes were available with a quick search online.
The show is entertaining and the kids ages 11-13 loved it.
Food was quite delicious and served promptly once we were seated.

After reading everything about this medieval times, having been to a show long ago in L.A. we (my daughter and her husband) decided it sounded like fun. The first thing we decided to do upon entering was to get a drink while we waited for the show to begin. I was asked for my I.D. of which I didn't have, since I decided to leave my purse at home because I wasn't driving. After talking to the manager and being refused service even though common sense did not come into the situation because I'm "70!! This really put a bit of a damper on the evening. We went inside to the show and there were horses and birds of prey and a mediocre dinner. What was really off was the choreographed knights pretending to fall and get stabbed. Yikes, it was directed to a 5-7 yr. old mentality. Certainly not like the show I saw years before. Overall it would be great for kids buts but that's about it. Oh and in all that we read there was no mention of "bring your I.D." if you want to get served.

I purchased 6 adult tickets on September 26 and now one of those people have
been called out of state on an emergency. Would there be a way to get a refund
for this ticket?
The tickets are for tomorrow night, October 20th.
Is there handicap accessible seating for a wheelchair?

Yes it is on the top row of seating, so not as close to the action.

How is the seating? Is it individual seats with arms or are we looking at bench seating? I’m only asking cause I am not a small 110lbs person and would like to know a head of time if I should look at sitting on the end of the row?

It was individual chairs but right next to each other. No arm rest. Wasn’t a bench.

Are there any online discounts available to help save a few dollars on admission?

No. The only code available right now isn't valid for Scottsdale location. I was able to get a discount through my payroll company. If you have perks through anything like that you can look there.
