Cave Creek Outfitters were recommended by our hotel in Scottsdale. They are about a 30 minute drive out to the Sonoran Desert and they are a first class outfitter. Our guides Ryan and Cher were terrific. They set up our group with horses specific to everyone's riding ability and were extremely patient with some of the more novice riders. Once... More

I went for a 2 hour ride over Memorial Weekend and I had an amazing experience with Pam as my wrangler. I was the only client to have booked at that time so I ended up having a private for the price of a cheaper group ride. Some other places would have called me to cancel or asked me to... More

I planned the sunset ride for my girlfriend and 6 friends while in Scottsdale for her bachelorette party and we loved every minute of it... until the end! The staff was great, super friendly and helpful as this was unfamiliar territory for most of us. We all really liked the guide we had, he was extremely informative and gave a... More

This was the first time I went horseback riding. I suffer from anxiety and was terrified to go on the ride for both my anxiety as well as my knee issues. Rubin our wrangler was amazing and so helpful. I would definitely go again and request Rubin to be our wrangler. A two hour ride along with a meal for... More

If you've ever taken a horse back tour you won't find anything new. Basically just sitting in a line of horses that follow one another closely while walking. Nothing particularly exciting, though that's likely what most people want. The attraction is seeing the desert and its scenery. We saw a couple of coyotes and white tailed hawks in our 1... More

Riding off the beaten path into the lush foothills of the Sonoran Preserve is made all the more special and memorable an experience because of the amiable and attentive staff and the gentle well-groomed horses of Cave Creek Outfitters. We picked a two-hour horseback ride on a Saturday morning to celebrate my wife's birthday. Two friends joined us, and, accompanied... More

Great place to enjoy horseback riding in the Sonoran desert among the cactus. Sharon and Reuben were great guides. The cookout supplied by Tim was delicious and he country music fitting. The cowboy games after dinner was a nice treat that included axe throwing, lassoing, bow and arrow.

Came here for a business trip dinner. Small group. Very intimate. Tim and Ryan were great hosts. Love petting the horses especially Spuds. Different taste of Scottsdale area.

We went on the two hour ride in the afternoon. Our wrangler, Jeff, was excellent. He was knowledgeable and helpful. He got down off his horse and took pictures of us. He led us through a very interesting desert environment. He is a true asset to this company. The horses were in great condition and weren't just following the one... More
