I've been here countless times and they always seems to get better. The service is over the top and the food is amazing. The sleeping rooms are very nice and the golf is out of the world. Another good part is that Kierland Commons is right across the street where there is tons of shopping and restaurants.

More of an upscale outdoor shopping area. Some stores that we all have come to recognize as well as some we might not have come across. The setting is quite lovely, parking along the street as well as more parking in fair amount of distance to the Main Street of shops. Restaurants too when you are hungry for lunch or dinner. Do keep in mind that the shops close at 8PM. Very convenient to the Westin hotel; just steps away.

This is a great shopping area, and there are really nice restaurants, too. Note there is additional parking in large lots and garages, not just the shopping streets. If you appreciate jewelry, don't miss Platella. It's in the same block as Chico's - a small store with striking silver jewelry designed by the owner, Hugo Rodriguez. If he is there, you are in for a treat - he is downright charming and will work with you to find perfect piece, yet he won't pressure you to buy. I come to PHX once a year for business, and I never miss stopping by Platella.

While in town my wife and I walked over from the Westin which was a nice and easy walk to just get out of the hotel. The Commons are a nice well maintained area with tons of shops and places to eat. Maybe not the best selection of stores for those under 40 but overall really nice spot.

If you want to window shop or find something special, you can do both well here, lots of selections, a little pricey, but if you want quality products expect to pay the price for them and the brand names! Plenty of selection for good restaurants too!

The aesthetics and design of this outdoor center is phenomenal and adds some richness to the shopping or dining experience. Whoever designed this venue did an outstanding job, including choosing the stores and restaurants that are part of the Commons.

Easy access from resort thanks to shuttle service. Uninspired shopping - same chain stores you find all across America. Assorted restaurants with reasonable prices and selections.

This is the most horribly ran mall in Scottsdale....the busiest time of year and they choose to resurface a lot of the parking....there is not enough parking there anyway and now to resurface is totally WRONG... unless of course you want to valet your car at $11.00. Whoever is the property manager should be fired!!! Or maybe they don't need shoppers to keep the mall functioning.... VERY SAD situation.

Pros: Pool and cabanas services are amazing. Service is spot on.

Service other than the pool is spotty at best. We wanted a $300 shot of Scotch at the main bar and the Scotch guy, named Guy, told us he was closing which he wasn't, didn't want to answer our questions even though we were inquiring about buying a $300 dollar shot of scotch, he took away our scotch menu and told the other female bartender not waste his time. The female bartender gave us back the Scotch menu against his advice and we paid $300 for a shot of Scotch from her, not him. Kicker, he came back 30 minutes later aka not closed, to try to take credit for the sell and he even told us how to drink it even though we told him several times that we are fully versed on how to order and drink scotch. He basically told us he didn't want our money even though we were trying to give it to him and then when we paid $300 for a shot he told us we didn't know how to drink it when we have more experience than him. We told Guy that we knew how to drink Scotch, he nevertheless, would not leave and kept talking about how to drink scotch when we said we knew what we are doing. Ewe. No more.

Kierland has a lot of trees lining the streets but beware that parking in spaces under these trees that most likely when you return to your car it will be covered with bird droppings. I come here often and have to get my car washed most of the time after parking here. Kierland management needs to take care of this problem. I’m sure a lot of people are not happy about this problem.
