The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community has built two uniquely divergent courses; golfers looking for wide-open links will be as content as those looking for traditional tree-lined doglegs.

The golf was good. Played the north course. Greens were great rolling true and fast. Customer service is non existent, from the pro shop to the starters and on course marshall. Too bad courses don't get that there are a lot of courses in Phoenix.

Talking stick golf offers two golf courses with beautiful views of the mountains and desert views. The greens are meticulously taken care of and local critters running around the fairways add to unique nature surrounding the course.

Went on a golf trip and played here. Was very happy with layout, greens roll true but have some weird pin placements. If you are looking for views in AZ this isn't the course for you. Pretty much all desert around you. Fun track.

Thanks so much for reviewing our facility. I agree, very fun track(s). Come back and see us. Until then, keep it in the fairway! More

I can see how this course can be polarizing. It is as flat as a pancake and pretty wide-open for a desert course. While that sounds unappealing, the fact that the only visible sign of civilization is the Talking Stick Resort Hotel gives it a quiet, remote feel, which is partially offset by the continuous hum of the freeway which... South course was closed for seeding, played north course. It was in pretty good shape, they had not over seeded yet. The greens were in very good condition and rolled very true. Lots of deep sand traps on course. Course is very flat. Club house grill had pretty good breakfast sandwiches. Very friendly.

I recently stayed at the Talking Stick Golf Resort for a conference. Staying on the Club Floor and made use of the Concierge. That was my first mistake! Asked for a 1:30PM tee off. Concierge said no problem, the course was wide open. Asked him to call and reserve our two some and told me it was not necessary. And,... More

Played the North course, not as pretty as TPC or Troon North but a good challenging course. Deep bunkers, stay out of them if you can. Played the forward tees to avoid the carries. Enjoyed the round, but not as challenging as Troon North nor as exciting to play as TPC Stadium. All in all a good round. The staff... More

You hardly need one during the Hot... More

While staying at the Talking Stick we played at the course. The staff is friendly, the course is well kept for being in the AZ heat.

Played both the North and South courses. Not a short course but well designed and fast greens. Clubhouse staff friendly and helpful. Free range balls and practice area prior to play. Sand traps as expected and playable. North course better than the South.
