Cool Waters & Scenery by Beaver Creek
Jul 2018 • Couples
We spotted the area while out touring the fantastic Montezuma’s Well area and came back for the Cool Waters & Scenery by Beaver Creek. Actually looks like a mini Oak Creek area & not the crowds. Nice time! Enjoy!

Cool off in Wet Beaver Creek
May 2018 • Friends
This was a USFS campground. It is now day use only. Creek and shade although high usage during the hot weather.

Tranquil Alternative to Oak Creek
May 2017 • Couples
If the road to Oak Creek is bumper to bumper, then just turn around on the 179 and go East to Beaver Creek. It is just as beautiful as Oak Creek and the Ranger said that it does not have the bacterial problems either. There are plenty of spaces and picnic benches. Some of the kids hiked up to a place they called 'the crack' that's even better than Slide Rock from what I've been told.

A nice spot to relax and enjoy Beaver Creek. There are two areas to park. One is the paid day use area which has toilets, seating and water along with parking. Opposite the entrance to the fee day use are is a small parking area where, if you are lucky enough to find a parking spot, you can still explore the creek.

Great hiking. Gorgeous views. Lots of wildlife and the best swimming holes in AZ. A place to go when you need a spiritual nature experience. Have been going to Wet Beaver Creek since the late 80s.
