We went here for the Roots and Boots Rodeo and it was great fun! Parking was a breeze (Paid $5 or $10 to park) and the event was $8 per person. They had food trucks on the grounds which was a pleasant surprise! The rodeo was fun for families and adults! I can't wait to go to another rodeo here!

I've been to the last 2 "Roots N Boots" rodeos and they are a lot a fun. The contestants come from all over America to compete here.

There is a lot to do and see here. However, we came primarily for the rodeo and weren't disappointed. Barrel racing, roping, bull riding, bronco and more. We had box seats which we liked because it gave me some freedom to move around and photograph from ground level. Like any rodeo, there can be gaps between events and even between... More

It was so nice to have this venue close to home. Everything we needed right in our own backyard. Nice facilities and easy access.

Great show facility, close to home, instead of having to drive to north Scottsdale. Loved seeing the Budweiser Clydesdales there

I know nothing about horses or rodeos but enjoyed watching the competitions, though they are a little slow and boring with long waits between competitors. Still, it was interesting. Sort of a Fair atmosphere outside the arena with rides for the kids and expensive junk food and trinkets for sale. Loved seeing the beautiful horses and real cowboys though.

The facility handled the large amount of rain well. The grounds drained well and everyone was able to come and go at the mounted shooting competition as usual after the rain stopped.

The horseshoe park design allows for a wide variety of events. The roots and boots rodeo is a family oriented event. The facility is well maintained, clean and arenas groomed for each event. Enjoyment for both spectators and participants. Events may or may not have a fee, just check the web site for event calendar.

My first time to this event @ Horseshoe Park AND with out-of-state guests AND also met friends from Mesa, too. This was a really cool rodeo and pre-rodeo dog agility contest. We went to the rodeo on Saturday night, 3/8 and had a good time watching the bull riding, bare back riding, saddle bronco riding, women's barrel racing, calf roping,... More
