Sit at the bar, have one of their delicious Belgium Dark Ales, which are aged in wooden barrels in the back of the bar. You'll meet the brewmaster, chat with him and have a good time in this bar. Especially on a weekend, when local bands are playing and atmosphere feels like in a living room of a friend. Unfortunately, no food menu at the time we were visiting. At least small bites would be nice.

Love the painting and odds/end furniture. Good beer (porter/stout). Nice place to relax and talk to friends.

Enjoyable brewery to drop by for a beer or two. The bartender we had was a complete saint. She was willing to let these extremely annoying, snobby folks try about 10 different items before most of them chose something.

Beer selection is nice, ambiance is a good setting for a brewery. The beer was good overall as well. It was too bad there weren't more people in here on a weekend nite. This is definitely a great place to drop by for one or two pints. Maybe not the place to hang for 3-4 hours but plenty fine with a few friends for an hour.

I'd definitely come back when in town in the future.

Day 4 of the Prescott roadtrip, so it must be time for the second brewery. Granite Mountain was a surprising find. The brewery looks like a good sized nano, with a row of small fermenters behind the bar, and tap handles attached to small kegeators, but don't let that fool you - these guys know how to brew great beer. I had the flight, and the highlights were the Belgian Blonde, the Big Boy IPA and the Dark Cow Milk Stout. Likely you won't see these when you get here, as it looks like they rotate on a regular basis, but that's the great thing about small breweries - they never stand still.

Our food was very good - beer Mac 'n' Cheese and Vegetable Marina - full of flavor, and cooked and served by a guy who clearly loved his food and took great pride in it. The presentation is basic, but again, don't let that fool you. The cheese sauce on the Mac is amazing!

We visit Prescott on a regular basis to visit family and we have been going to GMB since they opened. Every time the beer just gets better and better and our latest visit was the best yet. Michael is brewing outstanding beer with absolutely clean flavor profiles and he's having fun doing it! He is always making something new and unusual, styles that you won't find anywhere else. You've got to go here!!! Get adventurous, sample them all!

If you like good beer, really good fresh local beer, then you must stop in for a cold one. We found this brewery just off the main square by accident. Didn't even know it was here. Just in time for us to have that cold beer we were discussing. I had the flight, very generous 6 - 5 oz tastes for only $10. My husband had a 16 oz glass for only $4.50. I didn't like all the beer in the flight, and shared them with hubby, but my favorite was the Honey Vanilla Porter. Not bitter, not sweet. I wish they would bottle that stuff! You can get a growler though. Will definitely go back there. I think they serve some type of food, but we weren't eating at that time, so we didn't look at the menu. But the beer is worth the stop.

We stopped in on Saturday afternoon and tried a couple of their Stouts - both were excellent! The atmosphere is casual and comfortable and the beer was extremely flavorful. We'll definitely be back! Pints are $6.

There are two very good brewpubs in historic Prescott and this is one of them. I liked it right away because of the atmosphere: quiet, subdued, with plenty of big, plush seats and low tables to sit by with friends and conversation. The beer assortment is quite extensive. I tried the 5% ABV beer that was rich and flavorful.

Pints vary in price. My beer was $4.50 but some of the higher-alcohol beer were $6 a pint. I asked the friendly server why there was no happy hour, since the place was empty while the competitor around the corner was packed and loud. This place is definitely more for the beer aficionado.

This place also serves a few dishes. (I didn't try any) All the features are written on chalkboards behind the counter. There is also a small back patio for warm summer days, and there is live music on the weekends.

Good selection, they even featured three beers on tap that weren't theirs, how nice!
They had a saison that was good, their milk stout was good, and I enjoyed the strawberry blonde! IPA was refreshing to me!

We stopped in for drinks and appetizers. We were disappointed that on a hot day they didn't have iced tea. Other than that the food and drinks were good. We ordered the popper dip, a brushetta and a club sandwich. The dip for my taste seemed a bit salty. The club sandwich was very very good. Fun place to stop with friends.
