The lake is pretty small. You can rent a paddle or electric boat to fish. Didn't see much getting caught. The dam cuts off the walking trail so you can't make a full lap around the lake. Easy to pay the use fee as they...More

Perfect short day trip from the Valley of the Sun. Shady, accessible & enjoyable for every age group, just a wonderful spot. Minutes from downtown Prescott, this is what Arizona is all about. Just lovely.

This is a city-owned park. Nice big lake just outside of town. Lots of trees and tables. Trout fishing too. Relaxing. Costs $2 to get in. Ample parking. Good for 2-3 hour retreat.

As far as I know, yes. Picnic tables are first-come basis. City of Prescott owns lake. Might want to call them to make sure.
