Beautiful lake

The lake is beautiful with the forest coming to water's edge. There are picnic areas and hiking trails. Very serene. One can fish and kayak.

Small lake, but pretty. It's a pay park and can get crowded. Some of the locals aren't the type you'd want picnicking next to you. Worth seeing.

Picked up some groceries from Safeway to have a sunset picnic at Goldwater Lake. Found the perfect spot by the kayak/canoe rental for sunset viewing with plenty of picnic tables. Plenty of restroom facilities nearby.

Quiet and relaxing.....a great place to picnic and fish. Convenient benches scattered around the lake and a nice walking path.

This is a pleasant small lake in the woods, just off the Senator Highway above Prescott. Fishing and boat rentals are available, as well as several picnic tables in the nearby woods. There is a two dollar parking charge, but it's free on Wednesday. There are hiking trails nearby and one can hike around the lake, at least partway.

We have been going to this lake for a very long time. It's a great place and a nice place for peaceful walks....but since they expanded the parkinglot a lot of the animals have left.

Loved the lake, but we had wanted to rent the canoes. Apparently they were already done for the season.

Just an easy 10 min drive up Senator highway is the perfect picnic spot. There is a pretty impound lake with trails, picnic tables and resting benches creating vignettes every where, even a little pier. Pavilions available with advance reservation from Prescott Parks Dept. $2 admission...Free on Wednesdays.

I visited mid morning on a Saturday and easily found parking. There is a easy difficulty trail which goes most of the way around the perimeter and is a good walk. I did almost get hit by a small group on bicycles so watch for that. I enjoyed myself and was impressed by the facilities there. Looks like a very... More

A great place for fishing, picnicking, and just relaxing. There is a covered pavillion that can be reserved for special events.
