The Antelope Hills North Course tests your fairway accuracy as it winds through sentinels of poplars, spruce, elms, cottonwoods, and weeping willows-deciduous trees unique to this desert climate. At a testy par 72, the mature 6,778 North Course has offered players on of the most spectacular challenges in Arizona public golf since 1956. Newly hired Golf Course Superintendent, Jerry Walsh, has the course in the best condition in recent years.

Antelope Hills is my favorite course in Arizona. It's 20 degrees cooler than Phoenix and offers a great golfing challenge. Course conditions are perfect.

I've played in an annual tournament here for quite a few years. There are 2 eighteen hole courses. Both courses have plenty to offer. Lots of good ups and downs with very challenging greens. This year the course is a little dry. I understand that rain has been scarce and the City has cut back on watering. Despite the dryness... More

North and South fairways are mostly straight. Not a lot of dog leg holes, so no need to shape shots off the tee except for couple holes. When playing from the Black Tees it makes for an interesting long course. But with the help of Prescott's high elevation all greens can be reached in regulation. We visit Prescott each year... More

I hope the good people of Prescott realize what a gem of a golf course this is! I played on a Thursday morning and it was only $45.00 with cart! The fairways are perfect and so are the greens! The greens putt very true and are in great shape. This course is mature with 50 to 80 foot cottonwood lining... More

We recently played the North Course after playing some outstanding semi-private courses in Phoenix. First of all, this is a municipal course so it's hard to compare it to a semi-private or resort course. That being said, we found it to be a very good muni course, much better than most. It is in excellent shape with terrific greens. In... More

North and South courses at Antelope Hills are really nice. Had lunch at the club after. GREAT food, nice service, great staff and a nice pro shop. Really friendly staff all around.

I have driven up from the valley and played this course many times over the years. It is a refreshing break from the desert courses and there is so much to do and see in Prescott. Will be back.

The only issue I have with this course is that there are too many tournaments and it's difficult to get a tee-time. Otherwise I enjoy this course because it's challenging without being overly difficult.

These courses are reasonably well-designed and well-kept, and offer an enjoyable experience. The North Course is more challenging with narrower fairways and more trees, and offers more shade in warm weather. If you are a long hitter, use the gold or black tees. Expect to spend more time on these courses on non-winter weekends, when they are most popular. The... More
