About
AZ hummer Tours is an off-road adventure company that provides a personalized, entertaining and educational tour of the beautiful Sonoran Desert. We have two different tour vehicles available: The Hummer, where you will ride as a passenger throughout your excursion, and the amazingly agile Polaris Ranger RZR4 which seats four people very comfortably and you get to drive for a hands-on, wind in your face experience. Both tours you will be with a very experienced guide that will teach about the flora and fauna as well as history of the area. Hopefully they won't get lost...

What a great way to end our trip. Mike gave four high school senior girls a memory of a life time. Driving the Razr, seeing burrows and snakes, experiencing a beautiful sunset and taught them about the history of the land. Definitely a must do when in the area.

We been on quite a few tours and have to say this was one of the best tour experiences we've had.
Mike was an awesome guide, he took us on some really cool trails while stopping at some historic sites along the way.
Well worth the money and time, amazing experience!

I had my 8-year old granddaughter here for a visit and wanted to do something different with her; thought a guided tour out into the desert would be fun. Was I surprised and impressed! Jeff was our guide (we also met Mike who was just a doll) and what fun he made the trip. His knowledge of the desert life, history, cactus, etc was both extraordinary and entertaining. He had us laughing and squealing as we rode in the Ranger up and down hills and ridges I was sure we would never maneuver. We saw indian forts, a ghost town and Jeff even picked up a 4-foot king snake slithering across the land. And we got a CD at the end of our trip with pictures Jeff had taken for/of us during our adventure. My granddaughter wants to do it again, and so do all my friends now that I've told them about it! This is a "can't miss" Arizona adventure!!

Mike hired my company to do SEO and digital advertising for his website. He never complained about our services, but he also never paid for them. AZ Hummer Tours left my company hanging for $3800. $2100 of this were hard costs on our credit card! They authorized everything. It's not enough to provide a good service, what matters more is if the company you patronize is honorable. This company is not. Please don't give them your business. This is all I can do to make up for what they did to my small business. If they end up paying, I will take this down, but I'm not holding my breath.

Our family of four (two kids age 11 and 13) joined Kevin for a hummer tour. It was thoroughly enjoyable in every way. The hummer was a great vehicle for seeing the backroads of tabla mesa and Kevin was a fantastic guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history and geography telling us many interesting things about the flora and fauna. We learned how to survive on teddy bear cholla and Kevin showed us how to prepare it to eat safely. He had so many wonderful stories about his adventures in the Arizona desert - we urged him to write a book! He even showed us (from a safe distance) a rattlesnake and taught us some snake psychology.
The scenery was incredible and the sunset tour especially so. Thanks to Kevin and to az hummer tours for making a great afternoon for our family.

Just back from a short trip to Phoenix, Arizona, where we booked a hummer tour into the desert for an afternoon.

We were picked up at our hotel at lunchtime and taken out into the Arizona desert for an off-road expereince in a Hummer. Although we were late getting picked up, the guide phoned us to let us know he was stuck in traffic. We were dropped off back at the hotel about 5 hours later.

The tour took us into the wilds around Phoenix and included a number of stops during the trip, where our guide pointed out some interesting facts. We even saw a rattle snake!

There were drinks and snacks provided as part of the cost of the ticket. A number of photos were taken during the trip and we were provided with a CD containing the photos at the end.

On the whole it was a great afternoon and I'd fully recommend it if you fancy doing something a bit different for a half day.

Our tour guide Kevin was awesome. We were able to enjoy the tour with trivia knowledge, history stuff and his lovely pets. Rattlesnake and scorpion. We even tried eating cholla jumping cactus. Until we meet again az hummer tour! Thanks for a wonderful experience. Cheers!

We took a Hummertour through the Sonoran Desert and it was so cool. We went the first the day of December but the sun shone and even the wind is at your face blowing a chilling breeze you wont feel it as you ride down an amazingly cool trip through the desert. Kevin was our guide and he knows how to make a Tour into an ADVENTURE! His knowledge about the local Fauna is cool and thought us amazing survival tricks. Cheers to the team of AZ Hummer Tours and to Kevin for making our trip an unforgettable one!

Me and my co-interns did the hummer tour for about 3 hours in Sonoran Desert. Me and my co-interns had a great time. And Kevin, our guide, was just so amazing. Had a wonderful time doing a little hike and tour along the desert. 2 thumbs plus 12 more from my co-interns for having a great experience and for Kevin.

I am a extremely tough critic, and hate tourist traps. This is the furthest thing from a tourist trap. Jeff who was my guide was really knowledgeable about the area and made the trip both fun and educational. Its really a lifetime experience you won't ever forget. I did the Ranger tour which I highly recommend, but I don't think you can go wrong booking with AZ Hummer Tours. They seem like a class act all around. Must do if you are in the Phoenix area.
