Beautiful park in the heart of Phoenix with waterfalls, playgrounds, picnic areas, and a sports complex. If you're looking for some fresh air, make your way to Encanto Park! Oh, and there is also a small amusement park for the kiddos! The park covers a large area, so I recommend downloading the app, Avem. It'll help you find all Encanto Park amenities.

This is a wonderful little park. We were in Phoenix for a visit and went several times. The park is lovely, and our 9 year old was fascinated by the orange and palm trees. We only went to the little amusement park once, for a special Christmas event- the rides were a little young for our kids. But they spent hours on the playground.

Encanto Park and the surrounding area is a lovely snapshot of long-ago times in Phoenix. Step back into the 1930s to follow the trails and bridges to the lagoon with ducks and swans, picnic areas, boat house, and amusement park for young folks. Stroll around the neighboring residential area to see homes unlike any others in this primarily post-war city. The whole area is gorgeous.

This park was listed on a website for the best parks in Phoenix, so I paid a visit. The little "lake" was pretty, but trash was scattered everywhere. There was supposed to be a trail, but I couldn't find it. The park is in a bad neighborhood and I felt unsafe. It was loud and too crowded. Won't be going back.

This park is gorgeous and has so many attractive features that make it amazing. The water features, lovely trees, lots of picnic areas, and plentiful waste bins, parking, and benches make this a great place for families. But the worst thing about this park is the bird droppings which are on EVERYTHING!!! We couldn’t sit on down to enjoy the views and had to watch every step of our walk. Too sad.

A nice safe park in the middle of the city. A great place just to relax. Fun to watch kids in the park with their parents having a good old fashioned get together.

Good area in downtown Phx to bike ride, take the kids to feed the ducks, & enjoy the outdoors. Historical homes nearby that are interesting to see.

Stop and smell the roses. This is a lovely old towne park, with paddle boats and lots of places for the kids to run around and be kids. Feed the ducks and geese. Or get a fishing permit and sit down to teach the kids to fish. We catch and release but had fun with the grandkids by the water appreciating time spent with family.

This is the most beautiful park in Phoenix. Lots of big trees, the river, ducks, a small amusement area and great location. I used to take my daughter out of school, grab a bag of popcorn for the ducks and rent a paddle board to tour the canals. It was a great way to spend time together.

I was jazzed to rent a pedal boat at the park. The park is adorable and the little lagoon looked so inviting. The website doesn't list separate hours for the pedal boats (I SCOURED the website looking for info) but it turns out, they are open for limited hours, Saturdays and Sundays only. We missed our opportunity to rent a pedal boat! A huge letdown. The person we asked at the park would only tell us that the boats were open "weekends" and wouldn't tell us if that mean Saturday and Sunday or Friday as well, what hours, etc. I had to call into their hotline for the info (what is this, 1999? Put it on your website!)
