This is a beautiful outdoor shopping center. There is plenty of dining for sure. The shopping is lacking to date. But, if you're looking for a wonderful date night, you can have dinner, movie and a wonderful walk.

We stopped in here to watch a movie, "Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot." The movie was great, seats were very comfortable. The mall has parking that is free and can be validated which we did not know. Good location in downtown Phoenix.

We were downtown for a convention and Az Center is a nice oasis. Very pleasant shades areas, water fountains, etc. There are several restaurant choices that we enjoyed. Not a lot of shopping, but we did not look for shopping at all.

It was horrible. I dont know where to start. Half of the things didn't work. Concert experience they mentioned sucked because of multiple buffering and poor audio. I paid 50 bucks for this. I can not support #btsxaz because they are ruining all names for other army. I've been to their previous events before and it sucks so I should have expected it to suck here too. And now they are asking for donations for their freebies that I dont understand after they bragged how much money they are making from Armybts sponsers sketchy

This is a Phoenix parking garage adjacent to the Herberger Theater. It’s recommended on the theater’s recorded voicemail as a parking venue.
I was able to immediately locate a space near the elevator. It has open side walls so you have a view of the streets and buildings. It was clean. It was midday and sunny, there were no visibility issues. Definitely, recommend use in Phoenix downtown visits as well.

I have lived in Phoenix off and on for 20 years and have seen the downtown area go through many changes. It is sad when you see a once impressive entertainment complex collapse to nothing.
I was there last week to meet a friend at the AMC theater and couldn't believe how desolate it was. I do agree with the other reviewers about the astronomical prices of the restaurants and souvenir shops. They must all rely on the convention center traffic too much. Plus, they figure most people who dine at these ridiculously priced establishments are writing it off as a business expense, so Starbucks might as well charge $3.58 for a tall hot chocolate.
My advice if you're traveling through and have to stay downtown? If you're a walker, I would hop on the light rail and go to Tempe. Especially as the winter months are approaching, it's a lovely way to spend the evening. The light rail is clean, safe and at $2.00 one-way a real bargain.

We were in town for the science fair and stayed across the street at the Sheraton. Arizona Center was our go to place. It had a nice assortment of restaurants ranging from Subway and Starbucks to nice sit-down restaurants like Cucina Cucina. It boasts a huge movie theater as well. The garden plaza behind the restaurants is a green oasis in the city. It has walking paths, benches and fountains. Very relaxing spot. The center is still lacking in shopping but has grown in dining options since I was last here three years ago.

We walked to the Arizona Centre to do some shopping because of what we had read about it. It was posted as downtown's most attractive shopping venue with 50 shops. Unless I am totally blind and missed everything don't bother going. There are a few places there but from what a lady told us and from what we saw, a lot of shops have closed. It is more of a professional building on one side with a nice green space between another building. We were disappointed. We did go back another time for Happy Hour in a restaurant/pub on the premises.

Nine different restaurants, 8 shops, business offices for Arizona State University, a 24-theater complex. They had an outdoor concert (local folk band). Well laid park to walk, relax. Excellent location, walking distance to most downtown hotels; across from Sheraton. One block from Convention Center.
