We were going to do the guided, 2-hour tour with ATV's. There were plenty of trails appropriate for ATV's but, after judging our experience level, our guide suggested UTV's instead for the particular trail we'd be taking that day (same price). That was definitely a great recommendation! We would have had a lot of trouble with ATV's on some parts of THAT trail. The UTV's were perfect and we could not believe how easily they handled the rut, boulders and creeks. Our guide, Cody S., was fun, knowledgeable, patient, etc...everything you'd want in a guide. He kept the tour at just the right pace to challenge us and make it fun, while making sure we were not exceeding our abilities. He explained various plants, desert features and the Native American ruins to which he took us. He also stopped and let us know which parts would be difficult so that each of us got to drive on a variety of terrains. We'll definitely go back and try the ATV's too (on some of the less-demanding trails). We highly recommend this for family, friends, clubs, outings with coworkers...anyone who wants to get out in nature and have a little adventure. By the way...definitely go to Rock Springs afterwards for a meal, an ice cream, a beer, etc and don't forget to pick up one of their amazing pies!
