After researching all the choices for hot air balloon rides in Scottsdale/Phoenix, we booked with 2 Fly Us for 2 reasons…1. The bucket only fit 6 people (including the pilot) and I did not want to be in a 15-20 passenger bucket (I was looking for a more intimate experience) and 2. After speaking with Debby, she was very friendly, explained the entire process, and was patient to answer all my questions!! The experience did NOT disappoint!!! This company is private/family owned and Debby, Kevin, and Devin all made us feel like family from the time we met up until we drove away! (It doesn’t hurt that Kevin has been piloting since the late 80’s). We left before sunrise, getting first light as the balloon was being prepped for take off, and enjoyed the majestic sunrise in the air coming over the mountain tops! Debby took video/pics from the ground, also, which was a huge bonus! We finished the outing with a traditional champagne toast! This was a bucket list thing for me and I would highly recommend this company!! …they also fly in Montana during the summers, so we are looking forward to contacting them again when we take a vacation there!

My sister and I had booked 2 Fly Us when we were visiting Kalispell, MT, however due to weather conditions the ride had to be cancelled. Therefore, when we were in Phoenix, AZ we decided to rebook with them. It was Perfect! Even though most of us were a little afraid...the whole experience, from scheduling the flight to ending it with a Champagne toast, went unbelievably smooth. One of the best parts is that Kevin has a small basket, therefore it was just me, my husband, my sister and her husband. Beyond the ride, his fun facts, and his knowledge and expertise on flying balloons was Outstanding! Plus being a small family owned business makes this even better! Kevin's wife, Debbie, is an expert at getting the best photos, as well as being the chase team! The flight was around an hour or so, then ended with a champagne toast with sparkling wine and they even provided some snacks as well. We watched the sunset after a terrific flight! It was a fantastic experience and we couldn't ask for a better host and pilot than Kevin. You can see the passion he has for flying. If we ever make it back to one of these locations we will certainly go for another ride with Kevin! If you're going to take a hot air balloon ride, this is the company you want to fly with.

Kevin, Debbie and Devin did a great job with our family's first balloon ride. Five of us age range 19 to 82 and all had no problems navigating in and out of the basket. Take off and landing were flawless. He provided a lot of information throughout the flight. We went in the am and the sunset ride was the perfect way to start the day.
Fully suggest you fly with them! Flight was exciting, not risky or unusual as one of the questions below asks.

Kevin & Deb absolutely made my 30th birthday wish come true! They were so kind and friendly. They offered pictures & video to help make this celebration so memorable. The flight was easy to book.
Upon booking the trip, Kevin reassured us he would "take good care" of us. My boyfriend is actually terrified of heights, but Kevin, wife, and daughter surely made us feel safe every moment in the sky until the very end with the champagne salud! It's such a breathtaking, calming experience. I recommend to EVERYBODY! ... especially during the most gorgeous time of year in Phoenix --spring sunrise (my birthday).

We are visiting for a few months and the hot air balloon ride has been one the highlights of our time here. It was perfect weather and the Flanagans made the experience fun. It was great to see Kevin, Debbie & Debian working together. Their storytelling really added to the sunset ride! We really like the small basket (only 4 of us plus Kevin) and I would highly recommend them!

Our hot air balloon was perfect! Kevin, our pilot has 30+ years experience and took us 5200 feet up in the sky. I have MS and they were very accommodating getting me in and out of the basket. His wife Debbie took lots of pictures for us and even a video of our departure. Their daughter also helped it truly is a family affair. I would not hesitate at all using this hot air balloon company you won’t be disappointed!

The small basket allowed us to move freely and fully enjoy the experience. Only the three of us, plus Kevin the pilot. Kevin and Debbie are professionals and so informative and fun! We were met on time in a convenient location, allowed to help with inflating the balloon and were soaring before sunrise! We enjoyed a full 75 minutes in the air, followed by mimosas and a snack after landing. If you want a quality experience, you can’t go wrong with Kevin and Debbie.

We came all the way from Texas and felt right at home 2500 feet in the air!!! Much thanks to Kevin, Deb, and Debbie. They are true professionals and very hospitable and interesting to say the least. Can't wait to come back to Arizona and potentially fly again with them one day!

Kevin, Debbie and Devin were very professional, friendly and entertaining. My wife and I had smiles on our faces from the time we showed up until hours after our flight. They helped by taking and sharing lots of pics. Very cool people! We wish we were neighbors:-)

We flew with Kevin on our first hot air balloon ride over the Phoenix landscape. It was awesome. It is a four passenger basket so we could see everything. No other passengers obstructing our view. Kevin is a highly experienced flyer. His wife Deb and daughter, Devin assisted in the landing which was very smooth! Their personalities made this experience even more special.

Depending on weather and availability, they usually have a morning flight and. Sunset option, though I can’t speak for that specific date. You would want to call them directly for availability on that date.

If I remember correctly, it's about $170 or $175 per person, about $20 less per person than the sunset ride.

The basket I've ridden in several times holds ten passengers comfortably plus the pilot who has his own space. The pilot generally brings the size basket needed according to the number and weight of the passengers; you should be able to all fly travel together.

We met up with Kevin about 45 min to 1/2 hour before sunrise. Once in the air the flight was about 2 hours. It was totally amazing. From the beginning to the end. Watching their techniques to inflate the balloon, All the lessons and laughter and views while in flight, to the the landing and champagne toast. I will book again with Kevin and his crew.
