We took the Phoenix to Antelope Canyon and Monument Valley (ACM) and picked up another two in Sedona on the way to Page, AZ. The flight was utterly fantastic. Seeing the Arizona and Utah countryside, including a portion of the Grand Canyon, from 10,000 feet and less was beyond description. There was still snow in the distant mountains and on the northward-facing slopes in central Arizona. Antelope Canyon was awe-inspiring at Canyon X, which is in between the lower and upper sections. Although several groups were in our vicinity, they did a great job of keeping a gap for person-less views and photographs. We then flew over Lake Powell and the Rainbow Bridge on the way to Monument Valley. The simple Navajo tacos and Goulding's were simple though extremely tasty. The jeep/truck tour at MV was informative and breathtaking. On the way home, many in the group slept after a truly luscious experience. It was worth every penny.

This is an experience of a lifetime. In fact, this flight tour was a 55th birthday present from my sister. Because I once translated the introduction of famous tourist attractions in Arizona into beautiful Chinese for Westwind Airlines, my sister specially arranged this flight for me, allowing me to truly experience the magnificent beauty of Arizona that I once translated. Exciting birthday! It also made me deeply understand every detail of Westwind Air's service, which is an unparalleled wonderful feeling. I was pleasantly surprised to get an unplanned field trip to the Glen Canyon and Dam. In Antelope Canyon, the local Navajo guide helped me take pictures throughout. In the afternoon, taste the unique Navajo cuisine at a panoramic restaurant overlooking Monument Valley...  This is an unforgettable trip.Air travel with Westwind is indeed an excellent option for a short trip to Arizona. We went on an all day tour starting with a flight from Sedona to Page Arizona for an Antelope canyon tour. After landing in Page, our pilot drove us in a van to the antelope canyon where another company took us on a one and a half hour tour of the amazing canyon. After that tour we were picked up by our pilot who drove us back to the plane and we flew over The Grand canyon. It was spectacular. We then landed at the Grand canyon national airport and went on a ground tour of the Grand Canyon, taking in views from Mather point. After that we boarded the plane for the third time and headed back to sedona. It was an all day affair and it was awesome. They fed us a box lunch around 2:00 p.m. it was good that we took some snacks to munch on in the late morning cause we were really hungry by 2!

We got lucky with great weather and even though the airplane was really small (6 passenger including pilot) and bumpy and at times a little scary, the pilot was very good and calm at all times. We were never in any real danger, I just never had been in an airplane that small.

There was only one other couple with us on this trip and it was fun getting to know them as well. All in all it was a spectacular day where we did a lot and saw a lot and had a great time. Highly recommend this tour.

Last week, during our stop in Page AZ, we went on the Lake Powell aerial tour which took us past the Glen Canyon Dam and Horseshoe bend, and then up to the Rainbow Bridge. Our pilot Caleb flew 1000 feet above ground, providing us with breathtaking views through the plane 's large clean windows. Caleb's relaxed commentary on the sights we passed by was enjoyable as well. We were aso fortunate to have perfect weather (clear blue skies and no turbulence). I filled an entire SD card with the non-stop pictures I took with my camera, and was sorry to see the trip end 45 minutes later. This was our first 'air tour' ever, and we will definitely do more in the future!

I am with Adventure Caravan and I had a group of people and we booked a last minute trip over Lake Powell, the Glenn Adam, Horseshoe Bend, and Rainbow Bridge. This company was amazing to work with, very accommodating and professional. The pilots were fabulous guides and pilots. We felt safe in their care and LOVED the trip! Thank you!!

Phenomenal experience, from booking with ease with Lindsey to a breathtaking, unbelievable experience with Carla, I was blown away by all of it. Lindsey is awesome at what she does, great communication and incredibly welcoming when we finally got on site. Then we met Carla for our ANT tour, immediately felt confident with her as our pilot and guide, she was with us the entire tour which I never expected and was fun, knowledgeable, and clearly very skilled and experienced as a pilot. The sites were just jaw dropping, you forget what you are seeing is not man made, it’s almost fake, then you remember it’s not and have this incredible feeling of appreciation and admiration for what you’ve just seen and experienced. I am so very glad we chose Westwind, I thought this would be a once and a lifetime experience, but they were so awesome I can’t wait to get back and do another tour!!

This is a class act from planning stages to landing back in Phoenix, and it was an awesome adventure! Staff at Westwind answered my numerous calls and emails with friendly, informative patience. They helped me choose the perfect trip. We were greeted warmly at the airport and introduced to our pilot, Seth, a young, professional flight instructor, who immediately inspired confidence. The flight was so smooth, relaxing, and stunningly beautiful! The narration on our headsets was fascinating, but I often forgot to listen, as I was lost in the view. Passing over the Verde River and Sedona were incredible, but approaching and then flying over the canyon was beyond words.
We boarded Pink Jeeps after landing and spent the next few hours with two adorable, knowledgeable guides, who challenged us to stump them with our questions. They took us to several lookouts and to Grand Canyon National Park. So we got another perspective of the awesome Canyon from the ground. Even got to do a little shopping in Hopi House, a high quality artsy Native American shop. And we saw a large elk cow browsing along the roadside!
The return flight was again narrated via our headsets, with more cool info, or we could talk to our fellow passengers with whom we had just spent the afternoon.
We returned to pick up a nice souvenir picture of myself and my husband, taken before departure.
I highly recommend this trip. We were staying in Scottsdale, and it was a short drive to the Deer Valley Airport. I had initially looked at trips with 3 1/2 hour drives to the canyon, then plane or helicopter tours over it. For myself and my husband, this was a much better way to go. We had the view from above on the way, plus the much shorter travel time.
I can’t think of anything I would do to change this tour. In a word - fabulous!

Seeing the Sedona red rock buttes and then the Grand Canyon from the air is amazing. We had a great trip— Daniel, our pilot, was great. The tour on the ground at the southern rim of the Grand Canyon was really insightful as we had the pleasure of being guided by Jeffrey, a Navajo Native American, who took the time to share with us about his culture and traditions in relation to the Grand Canyon and the other Nations that call the Grand Canyon home.

I hired Westwind Air Services to scatter my mom’s ashes over Four Peaks. Lindsay was an absolute pleasure to work and talk with. I was able to fly along with two of the most amazing pilots, Lindsay and Carla. The flight was smooth and the view was spectacular! Lindsay made a couple of passes for me to be sure of where I wanted to scatter the ashes. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better in my quest to lay my mom to rest! Thank you, Lindsay, Carly and Lindsay!

My family did the Antelope tour and Grand Canyon flyover from Sedona. We had a great time. It was an efficient way to see the Grand Canyon and get all the way over to Page to tour Antelope Canyon. We felt safe the entire time and would recommend. Max was our pilot and he was awesome. I would say to book it if you are considering. We would have been exhausted trying to do a tour that drove us to both places in one day.
