Thank you Sonoran Outdoor Adventures Tour. Our family, including 16 year old and 12 year old, thoroughly enjoyed our private tour with Alan through the dessert landscape on Sunday afternoon for 3 hours. We took lists of short breaks, and 3 longer ones, to appreciate the scenery and enjoy a snack/water. The Fat tire bikes were much easier to ride than we thought they would be. Nice and lightweight, steady, and easy to shift. Helmets, gloves, and camelback with water and snacks were provided. Alan did a great job talking about the dessert features, and highlighting all the Arizona has to offer. The trailhead had clean bathrooms and plenty of parking. We were sure to take some extra layers since the temps change quickly in Early January based on the sun and time of day. We would do this again next time we are in town for sure!

Marek and Kent were fantastic to deal with, getting us great equipment and a scenic, invigorating four-hour ride of the McDowell Mountain area (one of the few allowing e-bikes). The water backpacks, chosen route, and informative descriptions made it a great outing. I highly recommend this outfit.

What a great day out on the gorgeous trails of AZ's back country. I chose SOA after talking with Marek on the phone...I could tell he was the real deal. When we got to the edge of the state park Marek and Alan were already ready for us. They made sure we and the equipment were properly prepared and off we went. It was a terrific ride, and not only did we see incredible sights but Marek was an expert on absolutely everything Arizona -- we could not throw him a question he didn't know the answer to. Eventually we split into two groups based on speed levels, each with a guide. The bikes were very easy to maneuver and very forgiving of the little mistakes we might make here and there. No falls! We were in AZ for a week and this was the highlight of our trip.
I run a small business and I know how hard it is to keep hundreds of people happy, day after day. This is the 205th 5-star review of SOA, with no reviews 4 stars or less. That's amazing, and a testament to Marek's dedication in giving his customers the best possible sightseeing experience. If you are in moderate shape physically, go for this as it will be the highlight of your AZ trip!

I’ve been on all sorts of excursions while traveling. I always try to get out and experience the area I’m visiting in a way that I can learn from and/or experience something off the beaten path. This mountain biking trip didn’t disappoint.
The customer service was top-notch from the start. Marek called me the day before my trip to talk through logistics and get a sense of my experience. I was traveling into the Phoenix area, so this extra confirmation was a great service and eliminated any uncertainty I had about the trip. Additionally, it turns out I was the only participant scheduled for my time slot and, instead of cancelling as some tour vendors would with a single sign up, Marek took me on an incredible solo mountain bike tour of the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy. He customized our route, distance, etc. based on my experience — while stopping to see all the breathtaking sites. Along the way he regularly checked in on my status to ensure I was staying hydrated and provided bars when I needed to refuel.
I highly recommend you find some time for a bike tour with Marek to experience an incredibly beautiful part of the Phoenix area that many area-residents don’t even know exists.

Marek was great to work with. I gave him a huge challenge to lead a group of 18 and he pulled it off. Not only were the guides great, fun, and informative, Marek made sure all details for hosting a large group worked well. If they could handle us, they can handle anything. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this experience and SOA to anyone.

Our family of 4 (two teenage boys) did a fat bike tour with Marek and it was awesome, he was a great guide, our oldest is not a very confident bike rider and Marek took the time to make him feel at ease and made sure everyone was comfortable. He explained a lot about the environment and was fun to talk too. We all had a great time?

Marek runs a professional service and made the experience really enjoyable. We headed out Scottsdale McDowell Sonoran reserve. We rode along 25km of sweet single track with lots of undulation. On a fat bike you feel very safe and any rocks in your way you just roll over them. Great views along the way where Marek makes a point of stopping and explaining the history and local knowledge of the desert surroundings.
Hade a great time and plan to take the family back there some day. In my opinion it’s perfect for individuals, groups and families. Thanks Marek for the fat bike experience and was a great experience that I won’t forget!!

My husband and I gave the Fat Tire Tour as a Christmas gift to my aunt and uncle. We decided to join them as my husbands birthday is this month. From the initial call and email with my questions to the end of our adventure Marek was very helpful, thorough, and very detailed. He was awesome and it was a pleasure having him as our guide! The tour was fun, exciting, informative, and had spectacular views. No matter local to the Phoenix area or from afar, we highly recommend checking this out!

Marek was great! Once I emailed about a solo hike - he called to ask what type of hike I'd be interested in and he knew immediately which one would work best for my activity level & based on what I wanted to get out of it. He picked the perfect hike - Tom's Thumb at McDowell Sonoran Preserve. He was very flexible as originally I planned a morning hike, but decided later that I was interested in a sunrise hike. We got to the park at the perfect time and was able to experience a gorgeous sunrise as well as a great hike. He provided a hydration pack & snacks which was perfect since I was traveling from out of town. Marek is very knowledgeable about the area, plant & wild life. I'd highly recommend & plan to reach out to Marek for more tours in the future.

We had a great time on this tour. Alan was an amazing guide. He adapted exactly to what we were looking for. We could have just rented bikes, but the experience of having a guide who led the way and gave us insight to where we were and what we were seeing added to the bike experience. Would recommend this tour for anyone who wants a fun and relaxing time.

few days back. I think we decided to touch base on Friday with all the final information.She was cancer little bit with the weather. Anyhow it looks like the weather’s gonna be great.
