I had a short time during a business trip to see scenery -- decided to check out Dobbins Lookout, based on tripadvisor. It was worth the winding trip up the mountain...its a small mountain - i think about 2500 feet, but high enough for good...More

Not as impressive as I was led to believe. The drive is pretty long and very windy. Some passengers were feeling sick by the time we reached the lookout. What we could see was city sprawl across the valley with a haze hanging above it...More

This drive is well worth the trip - about 30 minutes south of downtown Phoenix. Once in the park, follow the winding road for a few miles to the lookout. The facilities are minimal, but you’re up there for the amazing views of the Valley...More

Many of the amazing views that you see at different places are only seen after a difficult hike. You don't need to hike for this view. You can drive to it which makes it accessible for everyone. It is a pretty view of Phoenix. However,...More

We had a bit of trouble finding the summit road as there were no signs directing us to it. The park was completely deserted when we arrived at 11:30 AM, kind of eerie. Eventually we found the summit road and encountered a few other visitors....More

Nice drive up. Great place to relax or hike and enjoy the scenery. Views from here are amazing. Benches are available as well as a shaded building that provides a breeze. Stay a short while for the views or longer with a hike.

Really enjoyed the area - the drive up - the lookout. Lot of people seemed to like the challenge of cycling up here, so have to be conscious and aware of this - a lot of narrow and blind bends. Sadly, there are several memorials...More

You can go to the City of Phoenix website and check on their parks hours which states that City parks are open 365 days a year. There are restricted services on City recognized holidays.
