Purchased a trip for my husband and father in law with the Hook Up for his birthday in August. The guys went on their trip last week...finally! Needless to say they were SO glad they went! The guide they had was professional and highly knowledgeable. My husband wasn't sure how to figure out what type of lure or rod to... More

My sister and I spent a wonderful day on Lake Pleasant with Dale. He was such a pro, knowledgeable and fun. Fishing was slow (it happens) but we tried fly fishing, spinning with anchovies and even jigging. Dale was a terrific instructor, a real conversationalist, and a cool dude. All exceeded expectations. Thx Dale!,,

My fiancée and I took my grandparents out with The Hook Up Outfitters. We found it really fun, including my grandparents. Lake Pleasant is a man made lake that is feed by Lake Havasu. We choose to do the early morning outing. We traveled from Mesa, which took us a bit over an hour to get there. Be advised there... More

One boat and a center console with 8 fisherman 1 guide, sparse seating and no pottie. No fish, (Stripers) either. The only bait available was frozen anchovies. No attempt to go for Bass and no gear for it either. The boat was not equipped with modern equipment like electronic anchoring so we fought the early morning winds moving four times.... More

This was a group fishing trip on Lake Pleasant----8 fishermen, 1 captain and a center console outboard. The captain was quite skilled, pleasant, funny and a real asset on the trip. It was a very windy morning so he took us to a cove that was protected. When the wind slowed he took us to another part of this huge... More

I booked the Sonoran Bass Adventure for my husband and I to celebrate our first anniversary. Two days before the trip I called them to confirm and Kyle told me we were the only two that had signed up and it was at risk of being cancelled because they require a minimum of four to go out on the tour.... Really nice boat that's the only good thing I have to say.Our guide was an older guy named Larry and great to talk to. Once on the boat, he said We would only be going for stripers and he didn't bring bass gear. We fished in only 1 spot tied to a dock and used frozen anchovies the whole time.... More

Went on a Charter late March 2013, the Fishing Pro was not at all a people person, started off bright and early acting like he did not want to be there with the rest of us. He was like a drill sergeant and very bossy, there was a full boat of 8 and I think everyone felt the same way.... More

Took my son and grandson on a full day fishing at lake Pleasant. Our guide Mike was excellent in helping our grandson and got him to the point that he caught two fish totally on his own. We spent the morning fishing for large and small mouth bass and the rest of the day fishing for strippers. It was a... More
