If you believe Covid19 is real, this is not the place for you. There is NO social distancing on the dock. There is a sign on the door saying one person at a time, but its packed full of people. If you wait your turn outside, people will go past you and go inside. The 2 young girls working are nice, but do not enforce any CDC policies. Do not believe the web site. There is no cleaning happening between renters. They also fail to mention you have to pay $7 to get in the gate, plus the rental cost. Once we got the kayak and got on the lake, it was very nice. I gave 4 stars because it would have been a good day except for the pandemic.

Second time renting a kayak from here and it always easy to make reservations and show up and have fun. The staff didn't give us a tutorial this time, and I kind of wished we had asked for one. Returning the kayaks is easy, just paddle up. We did the two hour tour. The water felt so refreshing and seeing people out and about was a good break from all the Covid protocol

Abbey and Lexi were amazing trainers from GoPaddleAz.com. They both showed super customer service skills. All of us were able to stand on the paddle board after their 5-minute tutorial. We were all beginners and we were standing on our paddle board 1 hour straight. Not one fell! Fun and beautiful place to paddle board and excellent customer service. Will definitely visit GoPaddleAz again!

I've experienced much better when it comes to paddle board rentals. We were very disappointed. We showed up hoping to be able to rent one paddle board for an hour that we could share between my self, my husband, and our two children. We were told we could not share it. That meant we would need to rent one board per person which would have been a whopping $100 for ONE HOUR! ($25 per person). That is WAY over priced. We rented at Lake Tahoe, CA and we were able to share the board with whomever we wanted to in our group for that price. The kids would go for a few minutes, then an adult would take a turn for a while. It worked out perfectly there. We also rented in Hawaii and they only charged $10 per person per hour. MUCH more reasonable than $25-- and that was in North Shore Oahu on the beautiful Haliewa River! One of the most beautiful places in the world! I really felt like it was a rip off at Pleasant Harbor. I ended up going by myself because we refused to pay $100 for only one hour. It was definitely not as fun as I've experienced before and we were all very disappointed. Please make your prices reasonable! Nearby Bartlett Lake is only $35 for 2 hours. I'm planning to buy my own board so I don't have to deal with this again.

Tons of fun, my first time kayaking and it won't be the last. I shared a tandem with my 7 year old who was anxious about his first time on the water and we both enjoyed the experience so much we are buying a kayak of our own. Go paddle is a professional set up with friendly staff.

As a transplant from the east coast I am more used to ocean life verses river and lake life, so I am being introduced to new sports. I had only been kayaking once before when a group of friends asked me to join them for a morning kayak on the lake.
From the initial call to reserve the kayak through renting, launching and returning Jared was very helpful and pleasant. If you plan on spending time in a kayak on Lake Pleasant this the only way to do it! They are conveniently located right in the middle of the marina with a floating launch dock right there. Jared was great to work with, allowed us use of some dry bags for small things we wanted to take with us and gave us some good tips before we took off. I would say for the affordability and ease of service, even if I owned my own kayak, I would rent from them if I were kayaking on Lake Pleasant.
We only rented the kayaks for a couple hours in the morning so we just paddled to cove close by the marina and floated there for little while then back, which turned out to be perfect intro to kayaking on Lake Pleasant. Having been on the lake before, I know there a lot of beautiful spots to explore so I look forward to returning for a longer paddle and exploring them on one of Go Kayak AZ's kayaks!

The guys working the day we went were very helpful. Our 15 yr old daughter was going off alone, which she has done other places and I'm ok with that. The part that got me was she rounded the corner where the docks/restaurant etc are and I could not see her. I like to keep an eye out even tho she is a 'big' girl now. I had no way of seeing how she was doing or taking pics. She is an excellent swimmer and had a flotation device but this is the middle-ish of Lake Pleasant.
Reasonable rates.

This was our third time in two weeks. Great setup. Great staff. Lots of room to play around out on the lake. We've found a new pass time.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our kayak experience yesterday. Jared was SO helpful with instructions and information since we had no clue. The staff was very nice and accommodating (we’re both in our 60s) since we were a little skeptical. Great day at the Lake and excellent overall experience, they were even waiting to help us up if we needed the assist when we returned! Thumbs up for this business.

Back in April I drove out from LA to visit some family and we really wanted to find a place to go kayaking. I've been coming to Arizona since I was a kid and this was my first time on Lake Pleasant. It was such a beautiful place to go kayaking! We ended up being on the lake for 2 hours but I could have stayed out there even longer. The staff at Go Paddle was very friendly and had us on the water in no time. I would highly recommend checking these guys out if you're in the area!
