Parker Canyon Lake is a little more challenging than Patagonia Lake. Wear real hiking boots because you’ll have to jump across streams and avoid mud. It is also a popular summer camping spot. I like to go there with a camp chair, my pugs and...More

Unlike other lakes in the area, this one is at higher altitude and has pine forests surrounding it. Great picnic areas and a small general store. Usually very quiet.

Great lake for water sports and hiking. Nice trail for hiking around the lake. Beautiful views and scenery. Was busy with lots of hikers, people fishing, sailing, kayaking and just enjoying the day even though it was extremely windy today and a bit chilly.

Nice lake off the beaten path! Not crowded even on holiday weekends. They have a store, boat rentals, fire service bathrooms, picnic area, fishing. Areas were clean.
