This is one of the most beautiful and underutilized parks in La Paz County, try to walk this park, year around. Lots of wildlife, we have seen deer, coyotes, birds and plenty of reptiles. Lots of green space and a clean lagoon for swimming.

This preserve is truly exceptional with beautiful trees and river inlets. With some patience you can see an amazing variety of wild life, including colorful, song birds. If you are in the area, I would recommend a side trip to this preserve.

Its a very nice combination of nature preserve with a nice park for the kids. Plenty of chances to see wildlife, mostly birds that you might not see otherwise. I visit a couple times a year.

Beautiful scenery and close to the river. Picnic pavilions are available, providing shade and seating. The playground also provides excellent cover to protect children from the sun. A couple of drawbacks--1 picnic table bench is broken and simply has a board across it, but it...More

Looks like it used to be a good hiking trail with exercise stations along the way but it has not been maintained and some stations are rusty or grown over by weeds/shrubs but you can use some of them. It's good walking along the River...More
