Took the drive over the dam for something to do on a day trip from Havasu City. Scenery is beautiful in the area. Certainly not as spectacular as the Hoover Dam but worth the trip.

Cool site. Cross it daytime hours, looks like it closes 11 pm - 5 am. Good for kids to see. Lots of pull offs for pictures. Free, maybe took 20 minutes to pull off and see - take pics.

Parker Dam is a great place to visit, it has desert and also mountainous areas which makes the scenery fantastic. Weather was a bit cool, but better than the snow and ice back home.

Definitely worth checking it out at least once if you’re out this way. It’s worth seeing, and it’s educational. I thought it was really interesting!
