We had a wonderful experience at Arizona Zipline adventures! My daughter age 10 and I were invited by a friend and her daughter age 9. The girls were nervous but once they did the first zip, they were all smiles! The last one is a bit different. You climb up a wooden structure and then zip two at a time. It's very high up and very fast! The girls were super scared on this one but after some tears and several countdowns, they went and were very proud of themselves afterwards. I would recommend going early in the morning. We did the 8 AM zipline tour and it wasn't too hot yet and not very windy. The water stations were a nice addition. I would recommend wearing shorts with tight pockets so you can bring your phone to take videos and photos. Our guides were Jass and Reba, and they were both very energetic, patient, kind, and always put our safety first. Highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a brave new experience!

Staff was super upbeat from the moment we arrived. Encouraged our slightly nervous 10 yr old through the first line and by the third line she was asking for tips and tricks to go faster like a brave little princess! We also had lunch- the best custom burgers and fries we’ve had in awhile. Food was hot and fresh. Loved the simplicity of ordering and spacious dining during the craziness of 2020. Definitely a fun time for the family out in the desert, light hiking involved, but heavy on the fun and lots of memories. We will for sure be back.

My wife and I were celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary in Tucson. We decided to bring our teenagers (13&14) along on this trip, and needed to add to their itinerary. Arizona Zipline Adventures, Air & Space Museum, Petting Zoo, Bioshpere 2 were among the list. We started our zipline day with Kyle and Max and the energy was great! They were super professional, and we felt safe, encouraged and engaged. Our teens loved the experience! Also, don't forget to the stop by Peppersauce Kitchen to build-a-burger. The kitchen has mastered the art of fried cheese with your burger (I added the ghost cheese).

We went on our first ever ziplining experience yesterday and had an absolutely fabulous experience, a memorable day of fun in the beautiful Arizona mountains! I can't give high enough praise for the staff - everyone was so helpful, polite and added fun with a dash of humor here and there. I felt completely safe in their hands because they were so professional. I would also highly recommend having a bite to eat after your adventure at the on site Pepper Sauce Restaurant - hamburgers are amazing; leave your burger in the hands of the cook and she'll create a mouth watering treat. Go forth and zipline!

Whatever you do Do Not Pay Online. Wait untill you get there to pay because if you or anyone in your party is to heavy , sick and unable to attend, or if someone in your is just not able to make it, They WILL NOT give you a refund. So wait till you and your party arrive there to pay!! Other wise its a pretty good day lot's of fun.

We do have a cancellation policy of 48 hours and make sure to convey all of the considerations/restrictions prior to booking so that guests are aware they will not be receiving a refund if they do not meet the requirements. This was by far one of the best events I have done since moving to Oracle Arizona. My son came for a visit and we decided to do this. I was a bit nervous, however from the moment we walk through the doors, we were made comfortable, Jazz and Reba walked us through the equipment how it's used, and how to put it on. This course starts off with a smaller run and continues on a little higher and bit faster. This was the BEST thing to do together! During the Covid situation, the team had all equipment sanitized, they wore masks, both ladies took great care of us. Everyone should try this adventure!

This is one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. The staff was so fun and made my day great. The guides knew I was doing this to face my fear of heights so they were excellent at every move. Max and I talked about our hiking trips we have taken and what we have coming up and that really got my mind off of the fear. When I got to the top of the longest line Max made sure to congratulate me on not letting fear hold me back. What makes this super great is it starts with short zips then with each line it get longer and faster.
I can not wait to come back to do a night time zip.

We did a family trip to Tucson for Memorial Weekend and found this amazing Zipline Adventure in Oracle. It was fun & exciting for all 8 of us. We loved Our two guides, they did awesome at telling us what to do, made us feel safe and had fun with us. My daughter Jamie in our group did the best at ending/stopping at each zipline so gracefully that our guides were so impressed, they said she should be on a billboard or commercial advertising for them. After we had a great lunch at Peppersauce Kitchen that is there on site at the Zipline Adventure. It was nice & cozy with awesome views!!!
We had a blast & would recommend this experience to anyone. Our group was from ages 15 and up but I even seen little kids in other groups going. We felt very safe & had an adventure to remember for years to come.

I took my 12 year old daughter for her birthday. We had a great time! We arrived an hour early, and checked in really fast, so we walked down a couple of trails they had near the main building. We found a giant wooded teetertotter that two or more people could stand on and move back and forth on to rock.
When it came time for the zipline we were safety briefed and equipped in a fun informative manner by "Jaz" and "Taylor". They were also our Zipline guides. They were super fun and professional! They were really knowledgeable about the local and natural history of the area. After the first zipline, we caught a ride in the back of outdoor tour truck, which took us for a short ride to the top of the hill where we finished the other four fast ziplines. The driver was a great guy who looked like he could have been a character in a western movie.
All of the ziplines were a blast, but they saved the best for last! It was the line that takes you back to the start point, and man was it fun! It was the longest fastest zipline I have ever been on! There were two lines and my daughter and I were able to race back! I think we were going about 55 mph!
I really can't say anything negative about our experience. The facilities are clean and the gift shop was well stocked, and although we didn't eat there, I saw others enjoying the food and beverages. I would definitely recommend this adventure to any thrill seeker, or even individuals who might be a little hesitant about heights. Additionally, even though they encouraged the mask wearing, they were not pushy "Karens" about them, which is obviously something I was concerned about.

Great customer service starting from the front desk with Emily, she responded to our emails fast, and when they had a cancellation she called us right away so we could book our reservation (because we tried to book one within 2days and there wasn’t anything available).
And about the tour’s staff, we had the pleasure of having Taylor and Jared (Edmond 😜) whom are so patient, funny and professional. They taught us about the harness, pulleys, braking etc. and once we were on the zip lines they took the time to explain us again and gave us more comfort to take the jump.
The experience was so nice and fun! We’re coming back definitely.

There are weight, not age restrictions for ziplining.
From the website FAQs:
"WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO GO ON THE ZIPLINE?
All participants must weigh between 50 and 250 lbs. (fully clothed), be capable of following instructions, ascending and descending stairs, and walking on light hiking trails. Arizona Zipline Adventures has a zero-tolerance policy. No participants that appear to be impaired or is in any way endangering the safety of themselves or others will be permitted to partake in the scheduled activities. Ziplining is not recommended for anyone who is pregnant, thinks they might be pregnant, or suffers from recent neck or back injuries. All participants must wear closed-toe shoes."

I am a breast cancer survivor,no stomach muscles and because of Lymph Nodes removal my arm strength is very bad in my right arm.
With that said do I have to steer or use my arms to hold my body up for long periods of time.
I'm afraid I can't hold myself up.

They do ask you to break using your arms but it didn't feel very strenuous. The break doesnt neccessarily stop you it just slows you down. They were so helpful and reassuring, you should call and discuss it with them. Hope this helps a bit. I think you can do it!

What is the youngest age you would recommend for zip lining? Our grandchildren are coming and would like to know what activities are appropriate for their ages. 3-13

I asked this same question and the guides told me that even the guidelines listed below are subject to the child's abilities: if the child seems unable to understand directions or exhibits extreme fear or uncertain behavior, the Zip crew can refuse to take them even if they are within the weight and age guidelines.
From their website:
- Zipline guests must weigh between 50 and 250 pounds.
- All guests must be able to follow instructions given by guides.
- All children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
- It is recommended to consult with a physician if you have any medical conditions or recent injuries.
- We do not recommend doing these activities if you are pregnant. AZA reserves the right to cancel your tour if there is concern for your well-being.
