The drive up through the hills to the top of the pass is winding and some may find it a bit narrow in places. The view at the top looking down the pass is impressive (there is a great spot to stop at the top)....More

Sitgreaves Pass ie Route 66 is a MUST ride/drive. Route 66 is a slow must see as is Oatman AZ. The pass road is in good shape and the view are awsome!

Sitgreaves Pass on the old historic Route 66 between Kingman and Oatman is a must to do, at least once. It is a very winding road through the mountains without safety barriers for most of the way which made my wife in the passenger seat...More

The scenery was Great but the Narrow Road Was Horrible. Some curves were 10 miles an hour and that was fast. This is coming from Kingman into Oatman. It is many miles of a Very Winding Road.

It was a beautiful May day for a drive across Sitgreaves Pass into Oatman. I imagined our grandparents taking that drive 50+ years ago and how they mustve felt as they reached the summit at 3550 ft. Just before we got to the small mining...More

We got our photos of RT 66 both at Seligman where you leave Kingman and head for Oatman over the pass. Numerous old played out diggings and current operational mining is along this winding mountain pass. I wouldn't take a large RV as some of...More

Heading to Oatman, we drove up Sitgreaves Pass on the historic, winding narrow old Route 66. What a great experience! The views are beautiful and the essence of the old Mother Road takes you back to a time gone by. Drive slowly and enjoy the...More

A relaxing and beautiful drive to Oatman. The roads are winding and narrow but well worth a slow drive to enjoy the beauty of the area.

This part of RT66 reminded us of what you see on TV about RT66 in the desert. If your heading to Oatman this part is the best way to go.

I am unsure of where you are headed for in the Grand Canyon, but Oatman appears to be out of the way as Oatman is halfway between Kingman and the CA border. From the Grand Canyon you could head south toward I-40 and... More
