As far as waterfalls go, this one is truly impressive. It's a 100 meter high waterfall conveniently located near the side of the road.

On our recent Upolu trip, my family and I were driving on the Cross Island Road, saw the sign and decided to pull over to see how far away the falls were. It was just a short walk (think 10-15 feet) from where we parked to the viewing area.

The falls are in a huge valley with jungle plants and ferns lining the valley walls. You view them from the top. The pull-out is on the West side of the road, and the Falls are West of the viewing area. We were there late-afternoon so the sun was hovering right above the ridge behind the waterfall and prevented us from getting the best pictures. Go in the morning for a better photo-op.

Admission is free and it's an easy thing to stop and see, but it's not a place where you can really spend much time since it's basically just an overlook (a beautiful one, but still a quick stop). I'd recommend doing it just because it's an impressive waterfall, but it's not something I'll plan to do every time I go.

This waterfall is on the cross island road from Apia to the south side. Easy to see, very long drop into a huge forested canyon. would recommend

How sad. A beautiful place to visit with our family and the car park was loaded with takeout packets , plastic bags and roaming dogs.

These falls are not the biggest you will ever see, but they are very beautiful. We sat and just watched them for about 15 mins. They are almost hypnotic and very relaxing.

To view these waterfalls you need to pull off to the side of the road. The best spot to get a clear photo of the fall is around to the left but you need to be careful as there is no handrail.

These falls were easy to see as part of a quick stop visiting Samoa on the East Coast Tour. If you are driving yourself you would need directions as most streets aren't named and there are a lot of pretty waterfalls you would miss if you didn't know how to find them.

we went in the rain and after 2 days of storms. the waterfalls were raging.

Homesty box there on entry, so make sure you do pay, it is only 10 WST and although you cant get down to the river I dont think the views are still good and the overall expereince is excellent

Interesting to look at but it's a pity the viewing area was dirty and not well maintained. It was also difficult to take a decent photo because of the overgrown vegetation.

Out of this world !! You will feel blessed to be there
Walk through the small hidden path to the waterfalls and wait for the clouds to lift up
