We found this to be a safe and exciting introduction to zip lines. We showed up without a reservation and were quickly added to the small group already on the course. There are 6 separate lines crossing valleys and zipping among the trees. The price is very reasonable ($20) per person.
Don't be put off by the hard climbing comments. There is only one marginally difficult hike between the various zip lines. If us 72 year olds can make the hike with no trouble, you should be able to also.

Excellent zip line adventure just 20 minutes from Banos, in the Andes. It was raining and low number of patrons, and I had two guides, Luis and Sonya to myself. They were patient, extremely knowledgeable and made me feel safe. They have worked there 7 and 12 years each. The zips were really great - some companies have zips that just go through trees. These wind through the gorge and over the gorge - the longest is 500m and you are 120 m up! would recommend this place entirely.

This has got to be one of the top 10 ziplining operators in the WORLD. We had an absolutely incredible time with unforgettable views of waterfalls and forest canopy. Excellent staff. Really wish we could've done the canyoning as well.

We traveled as a small group to do zip lining. There was another adventure course that included some zip lining but also included walking across the gorge/river on small bridges. We only did the zip lining but having both options would be great for a large group if people wanted to complete different activities.
There were 6 lines for the zip lining. We were able to go upside down for one line and do the superman in pairs on another line. The best part was the view. I have zip lined in the US, Costa Rica, and Ecuador and this site was the most beautiful. You fly over a river and can see a waterfall drop its water into the larger river. Beautiful view.
the staff was very professional, spoke English, and were helpful in the equipment acquisition. They were friendly.
I would highly recommend this location due to the variety of two activities, the friendliness of the staff, and the location. We were able to get photos and videos from the staff for free. We just downloaded what they took from WhatsApp. They also had food and drinks afterward to purchase.

This was an excellent zip line experience. The staff was awesome! This gentleman (didn’t catch his name) was very friendly and flexible. Our group was pressed for time but he let us do fewer zip lines and adjusted the price. This is a must-do experience as the zip lines are great and truly an adventure.

My wife, daughter (16 y/o) and I did the zipline tour. It was amazing! Jonathan and Anthony were excellent guides. This was our first time ziplining and they took their time with us explaining all the technical components and how we should approach each line. I would definitely do it again if I go back to Banyos.

I honestly don't know if I've had more fun as an adult. We did both the canopy and canyoning adventures. The canopy/zip line route is my favorite I've ever done - for quality of the lines, the atmosphere (I mean, come ON, this place is amazing), and the guides. I would have been ecstatic with just that but then we decided to add on the canyoning adventure. It was unreal. I've done some rappelling before but doing it down these unique waterfalls with excellent guides in the most unreal nature scenery.... just wow. I will say that if you're not very confident in your ability to hike pretty steep hills (plus a metal ladder) or have serious concerns with heights (it's safe, but you do drop down a 100ft waterfall, so, you know...) then it might not be the trip for you. But if you're up for an amazing adventure with incredible nature, this place is unreal. A highlight of the trip for sure.

The family that runs this place is an absolute delight, too. We stuck around for some delicious home cooked food and just had an incredible experience. Cannot recommend enough.

I went to do some zip lining while visiting Baños, Ecuador. I’m glad I did. There are only six zip lines at this facility. But they are spectacular. I’ve been zip lining in Costa Rica where zooming through the canopies is an amazing thrill. Although smaller, this venue offers spectacular views of not only canopies, but mountains and rivers while zip lining. The scenery is amazing. Darwin and his brothers have done an outstanding job putting together this experience.

Really good zip line adventure. Great course- beautiful scenery. They will pick you up at your hotel. $20 photos included. There is strenuous hiking uphill between zips....and at high altitude. Equipment is good quality- very safe. Some of the lines you can do upside down or other positions. One is set up for two peeps together.
Do it! It’s fun!

We did a little ziplining tour which consisted of 6 lines and it was really nice! Got to go down the lines in different positions and there is a beautiful view. The guys from the organization were really kind also. Definitely worth the money!
