Last weekend we went to Puntzan with my wife and daughters aged 13 and 7. We had never done this activity before so we decided to take a shot at it.
From the diverse options you have in Baños, I believe this is the safest...More

Went with my 15 yr old daughter on a drizzling day. Because of the rain, there was no one else there and we completed the course in under an hour. There is a bit of hiking involved which made us hot and the rain refreshing....More
I've done canopy tours all over Central and South America, and Puntzan Canopy was by far my favorite. I cannot rave enough about this place: the professional staff, the freedom to do different positions, the amazing views, and the price! In the States, you have...More

For sure they wouldn't let you shuttle a truck across the lines but I think they're designed for just about weight that goes in human form :-) The best part is you will be able to ask this question in Banos before you pay for the expedition. It's best to purchase you "tickets" for this from one of the tour organizers in town - we used Geo Tours and they were very honest (many tour organizers charge more for the very same trip) and easy to work with.
I can say that my wife and I went in tandem on many of the zip lines and our combined weight would be about 290 lbs. And the guides often go across the lines carrying 5 gallon jugs of water, so I'm guessing weight limits are pretty high. Enjoy, it was totally fun!
