we did this amazing trail on our car. This is the route from Banos to Puyo in which there are multiple waterfalls , tunnels and other places to do adventure activities. There are 3 major waterfalls and 4 tunnels. The best option is to hire a bike from Banos and ride through this route. we have an amazing view of... More

We did this amazing trail on the bike around 40km. Make sure that where you hire a bike you get a helmet (cause we dident get one) apparently some companies give it and some others dont. They will also give you a safety lock for the bike so you can lock your bike and take the trails or the tarabita... More

Our group really enjoyed the casual and relaxing hike into the park to see these waterfalls. The park is well maintained as are the trails.

If you enjoy the vision and sound of water plunging from heights and sending up plumes of spray from impact with rock, you'll love this. Having lived in Banos for three months, I fell deeply in love with the surrounding countryside. Pailon Del Diablo and Manta De La Novia are breath taking water features and they are only a few... We didn't rent bikes but drove to the waterfalls. Once there, it is a bit of a hike up to the waterfall; I would rate the hike as light/moderate. As the hiking path comes to an end, make sure you have a raincoat as you may be likely to get wet. The best part of the visit is that right... More

Rented a bike one day and returned to Pailon Del Diablo the following day on a bus. While on bikeI found route to be well marked and drivers aware of bikers. Took a bus back from about 40k away from Banos but you can opt out any time before that. Puyu is 60k away.

It's a little scary biking along the side of a well traveled road and you'll go through a tunnel on the way to the final waterfall. For the other tunnels, a bikeway has been constructed that will show you other waterfalls. It was thrilling going at high speed through a puzzle but make sure that you have rented a good... More

This was average. Dont know if its because of the great things ive seen in 9 months in South America or the excellent mtn biking Ive done in my home country but I would not rate the ride as a "must do". On the positive side of things although its a busy road the vehicles respected our space, which is... More

Among many highlights of Banos a tour of the waterfalls is one not to be missed. For $5 plus $1 Sixto Perez Wild Expeditions took us on an open bus tour just out of the city with stopovers at several absolutely powerful and beautiful cascadas. If you want an easy and most impressive experience this one is very much recommended.
