About
We have been working in Tierra del Fuego for over fifteen years. We are experts in nature-oriented programs. Our focus is on hiking and interpreting our flora and fauna, particularly Magellanic wildlife (regional birds, plants and mammals). Our activities include Birding or hiking tours, or using any means of transportation that allow us to come close to nature.

Marcello was a great guide, with great field experience. Wandering in snowshoes (provided) above the Gartibaldi pass in the snow and the fog above tree level to find a pair of tiny camouflaged birds looked quite an impossible task... but after a few hours Marcelo found them and we got all amazing views! And pics!

Marcelo was recommended to me by Polar Cruises as an experienced birding guide in Ushuaia. He responded to several emails promptly and confirmed our arrangements nearer the time for our birding tour. Marcelo's English is very good and his knowledge of the history and natural history of the area and birds are all excellent. We saw 36 species including our target species. Marcelo's birding tour included all transport, light refreshments and the option to buy food at the park restaurant. He was very flexible in order to meet our individual needs. He carried a high quality telescope for us and confirmed the birds in a book for us to check any details if we wished. He also offered photographic advice for those interested. The walk along the shore through the beautiful forest looking for the Magellanic woodpecker was wonderful. Marcello included many different ecosystems and took us to different parts of the beautiful Tierra del Fuego Park to see the different species. The scenery is amazing. He emailed all the species promptly after the tour. He also gave us tips for birding around Ushuaia. It was a wonderful day and Marcello is a knowledgable and entertaining birding guide. Thanks a lot Marcelo! .

I spent two days with Marcelo, the company owner. One day in Tierra del Fuego National Park and another in the Martial Glacier area. I recommend both tours, although be prepared for some strenuous hiking to see the uncommon birds of the Martial Glacier area. Marcelo knows the birds and where they will be expected to be found. This is not just a business for him. He has a passion for nature in all its many forms.

We had a great visit with Marcelo bird watching in tierra del fuego park and would highly recommend him. he picked us up at the pier and dropped us off at the airport. in a long day we saw 50 species, including a pair of woodpeckers, most endemics, and a new rarity for the park. Great lunch also. Would highly recommend him. Good pace to the trip.

My husband and I got Juan's name from ruben-ushuaia@hotmail.com whose name we found online and who gives private tours of Ushuaia and area. Ruben was busy the day we wanted a tour and passed on Juan's name to us. Juan was a fabulous recommendation who we would highly recommend. We drove through the National Park and we saw the train that we had debated going on. Fortunately we didn't do it..... Juan showed us what a short track it was. We saw Roca Lake, Green Lagoon, Lapataia Lake and we drove to the End of the World post office where we bought the most expensive post cards with stamps ever!! The tour ended with a city tour of Ushuaia and Juan kindly took us to his sister's apart hotel to access WiFi. If anyone needs a place to stay it looked like a good location and was very clean. We ended our tour by stopping at a supermarket to pick up a bottle of wine that Juan recommended. I love Malbec from Mendoza and his suggestion of Rutini Malbec turned out to be the best Malbec I have ever had!! Juan's Whatsapp # is +54 9 2901 565355. Finding guides for this part of the world was a challenge so we were very fortunate to have found Juan. He was a wealth of information and a terrific guide.

We were a group of 20 adults on a cruise to Antarctica, we had limited time owing to ship delays. We chose this nature tour company based on TA reviews and it met/exceeded our expectations. Very nice park to visit and enjoy the scenery. The hikes were moderate and provided good scenic spots. Our guide Paula and the Driver Paul were excellent in their performance. Paula provided very good description/explanation of the flora and fauna. She took the time to explain the various plant species, formations and birds in the park. Nice to have a guide who can take good group photos. The snack with tea / coffee was excellent.

My wife and I spent a day (around 8 hours) in the Tierra del Fuego National Park with Gaston. There were just the 2 of us with him and we visted most accessible areas of the park in his 4x4 vehicle, stopping for short walks on the trails. A very nice packed lunch was included. Gaston proved to be a very knowledgeable and informative guide and we saw a great many of the birds of the area. I would thoroughly recommend him and his company to keen birders like ourselves.

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
