A Bevy Of Local Treasures
Jan 2020
Oddly, at first glance we couldn't decide which way to enter. After finally making that command decision, we found 20 or more local merchants/artisans working on and selling all manner of local treasures. While we didn't find anything we couldn't live without, it was a fun stroll past the individual stalls.

Same as the Feria de Artesans Handicraft Fair
Feb 2020
Located just outside the main gate to the cruise port and to the left of the visitor center is this fun group of some 40 stalls of handmade local items. Many of the shops were maned by their owners making their crafts right there before you.

BOTTOM LINE: There is a variety of little stall selling handmade jewelry, leather goods, alpaca wool products, made made soaps, etc. A great way to support local artisan's . Worth a stroll thru the long metal building. You just might find that special gift to take home! BOTTOM LINE: 7/10

Outstanding handicrafts and craftspeople in one location
Jan 2020
We saw weavers, leather workers, artists, mate product makers (a lot) and some most excellent jewelers. I had a small rutilated quartz whos gold wrapping has worn out. As the rutilation is copper I requested one craftsman to wrap it in copper, which he did in under 30 minutes for $4 US, it's stunning. Stop by for your cheaper souveniers made by locals here.

Walk of the Artisans
Oct 2018 • Friends
Located near the Visitors Center, the Walk of the Artisans is a roofed gallery with over 40 individual craft stands. Here you can see the artists working in their shops and talk to them. We really enjoyed our shopping here. Lots of unique, beautiful items and an opportunity to support the local community

Handmade Gifts, Great Prices!
Nov 2018 • Couples
Great place to buy unique handmade items! Great for gifts! There is an old gentleman in the middle who makes rings out of coins. He has many pre-made but you can also choose from his selection of foreign coins and he will custom make one in your size in 1 hour! I wish I had known or I would have brought some coins from home (he didn’t have many US coins). The rings look Amazing! Very reasonable at 500 Argentine Pesos (Around $15 US).
I also bought a Llama scarf from a vendor there, definitely hand knit and good quality.

It’s right near the tour boat docks, easy to find.

Local crafts
Jun 2018 • Couples
A very nice market where we bought a number of unique and handmade craft items direct from the craftspeople themselves. There was quite a bit of variety from stall to stall and all the stallholders were helpful. A good place to buy gifts at reasonable prices if you really want to give something a bit different to your usual souvenirs. Would recommend a visit.

Worth a visit
Jan 2018 • Couples
Definitely worth the visit if you're into local handicrafts or are looking for something other than a t-shirt as a gift or souvenir. There are maybe twenty or so stalls each with a different artisan. Offerings range from knit products to wooden carvings/utensils to hand made jewellery. While open seven days per week about one third were closed on the Sunday we were there.

Artisans Promenade

This small market area is situated near the port and adjacent the Tourist Information Office. Few artisans present on 29/03/2017 when we visited but some very eye-catching signage in place.

Right next to the port. There is a sign so you cannot miss it. You can take a look at the products that artisans made and buy one to support them.
