The drive up here is an experience in itself. At the top there is an overpriced tea shop and a steep, wide track that you hike up - the views are amazing, but there is not a lot here to fill your time.

I climbed the martial glaciar to the top, it took me 2 hs, you need special foot and equipment for the ice. It`s a easy way up, need to be fit and take it easy, from the top you can see the amazing view of the channel and the entire city, on the other side, the mountains... the sensation up... More

Weather is always unpredictable in the mountains. Be prepared for all types of weather, but know that Glacier springs are usually very wet. The recent warm temperatures will cause increased snow melt and higher water conditions in streams and rivers.

Im a baker so I'm in love with "casa de té", its a super cute place with a lot and very expensive gifts to buy. I don't think its a good option buy anything there (but I'm take a rhubarb jelly because i can't find this in brazil). I tried "chocolate submarino", its a hot cup of milk with a... More

Beautiful -but sometimes dangerous- places require the company of these experienced young men to make it safe and enjoyable. Hope you have a great trip !!!!!

This is a beautiful spot that we enjoyed from our Celebrity Cruise ship in January 2016. Very scenic. It is very cold here in January and you will need very warm wind breaking clothing and layers to enjoy this on the ship's deck.

It was a pleasant solo hike to the top of this glacier. Scenery was amazing. A bit windy and cold. Ground is slippery so better to have the suitable gear. I took a taxi from Ushuaia to get there and after I descended I found couple of taxis waiting too. It was a good exercise before all the Antarctic hiking... More

The glacier is there, further back in the mountain. If you are a hardcore hiker you can do that but we were not prepared for that type of trek. Still should absolutely go as the views of Ushuaia and the Bay are absolutely stunning. Good for any activity level, you could walk from the center of town or take a... More

Nice walk, close to town which means you can walk from town to the final lookout. Something to considerer: you won't see any glacier on top of the mountain. The main view is from the mountain to the city. The hike itself is kinda easy if you already did some hikes in Chalten or Torres del Paile. Otherwise, can be... More

Great views over the beagle channel and of ushuaia but you will be disappointed if you expect a typical glacial foramtion as the glacier is high up on the mountain but still worth the trek
