Pleasant visit

We stopped off on a tour and spent a short while here. It was very interesting and we could have done with a little longer.

Its just really a pit stop, weather you are hiking (the toilets will be a welcome sight) or in a tourist bus (again a welcome pit stop). Make sure you take the time to visit the tiny upstairs exposition. There is LOTS of information on the original tribes which lived in Tierra de Fuego. The stop is worth it just... More

This is a welcome center in the middle of the Tierra del Fuego National Park. It´s a beautiful building, with clean bathrooms and a souvenir store. It also has a coffee parlor, where you should stay as far away from it as possible. Anything costs at least 20 times more than the grocery store. The staff is rude, the soda... More

Besides the few interesting information you learn about Ushuaia (wich probably you already would have learned in the other attractions such as museums and tours) is a good shelter when you walked so much in the park! Has restrooms and a cafeteria.

When walking in national parks whereever it might be, you can almost always get the feeling you need a restroom, get thirsty or just want to sit down for a minute or two. This vistors centre is a perfect place for that. The only negative thing to say about the Place is that the restrooms are too small and too... More

This facility has not only a gift shop but also a museum and a restaurant. The food is very good (sometimes better than other local restaurants) and the prices are same as if you get anything in town (could be much more expensive if you consider that they are in the middle of nothing). Very recomended if you want to... More

A nice clean contemporary structure housing food services, washroom facilities, souvenir shop, a quaint museum, and great lookout opportunities.

Our tour guide took us here to show us the exhibits upstairs. I have been here 3 years ago but I did not see the exhibit. It was interesting. It was cold and raining so it was a welcome relief to go inside to read and get some information about Ushuaia in the earlier years.

I had read about this building before visiting the Park and it surprised us with it’s modern look set on high ground with spectacular views to the river and surrounding lush landscape. There is onsite parking, restrooms, a huge café, a small but interesting museum and a gift store. Many of the items for sale are regional with books on... More
